Been meaning to start this show for a while now. It was raining all day yesterday so I saw it on Netflix and watched all day. Already 4 episodes into season 3. Good God, it is so good.
Also loved the fact that the 4 episodes that the pink bear was in were named, in order, "Seven Thirty Seven" "Down" "Over" "ABQ". Also, can someone tell me if Skyler stops being such a cunt? Again, only on season 3 but she just started fucking Ted and is a total bitch. Hoping she takes Walt back.
Do you know how you hate a TV character so much that you hope the person that plays the character in real life, dies so the character will die as well on the show? Yeah, I still want her to die. If you think you hate her now, I can't wait to see what you think when you get to the mid season break of Season 4.
Yeah I fucking hate her. I honestly think if I ever met her in person I would ask her why she's such a fucking cunt. And I know that's the mark of a fantastic actor/actress, but I don't care.
she's just as bad in Deadwood for some reason I don't like how tall she is. She has to be at least 5'10
I don't find her attractive, but I love me some tall women. They'll also be the death of me, because they are all usually crazy
The girl I fisted back in college was about 5'9", gaping cunt on this one. I've told the story multiple times on here and on the old rivals board. She liked black guys, and she told me so while I was wrist deep inside of her. Scared the fucking shit out of me.
I''m going to start watching Seasons 1-4 on DVD at work tomorrow night. Guy I work with has never seen the show. I told him it is the best show on TV. He said he thinks I am full of shit. This is the same guy that said he would never watch Game of Thrones, Dexter, or Suits and I have him hooked on all 3.
I would put it firmly behind Game of Thrones, and Breaking bad on my list as far as how well written it is.
Which should tell you something about how good the show is. And I wouldn't scoff at their budget. Have you seen those suits?
lol like they pay for the suits. Suits is a great show and it's better written than most of the shows on channels like USA. I would def say suits is a borderline top 5 tv show right now.
So sad we lost all the discussion on the last season of this show. Also, can Mix move this to the TV board?

Watching Flight of the Concords for the first time in awhile and can't believe I didn't remember that Gale plays Doug in this show.
Doing a rewatch. Screw anyone in the media that said Skylar haters were sexist. I'm halfway through the second season. At this point in time all she suspects of her husband is that he's DOING marijuana, and MAYBE is selling it. That's it. At this point in the show, halfway through season two, what she knows of Walt is that he's a guy who found out he had cancer and chose to cope with it by smoking the occasional reefer. Now, whatever your opinion on whether that should or should not be more widely legalized, it was in the timeline of the show certainly an illegal act, but one that everyone other than Skylar was willing to laugh off. And that includes the DEA brother in law. Everyone was cool with it, but not Skylar. And why was she so bent out of shape? Because, as established in her very first scene in the very first episode, Skylar is portrayed as an overbearing, passive-aggressive, hen-pecking wife. Veggie bacon. She routinely talked to Walt like he was a child. And Walt (pre-cancer) was a defeated man. He walked away from Grey Matter for whatever prideful reason he had, and ended up settling with a low-income teacher's job. He was broken and Skylar assumed the role as the dominant figure in the home. And that's fine. So be it. But the moment Walt displays even the slightest bit of individual and independent thought, Skylar reacted with only supreme affrontness. Half the time she acts as though Walt's life-threatening illness is this supreme burden on HER. She tells him to stay positive in an early season-two episode, as they awaited test results to find out how his cancer was doing: In the scene she flat out scolds him for daring to show a bit of pessimism. Later when Walt is found to be in remission she orders him to go to bed and stay away from work for a while. Walt meanwhile is done cooking, assuming that (1) he has cooked enough to come close enough to his $747,000 marker, and (2) having no reason to cook/make money because he's not dying. To Walt---though he will later admit he was partially cooking as an ego trip---cooking was about finally assuming the role as the provider of his family (a role he was MIA concerning when the show started). He doesn't cook, but now that he's "better" he takes to repairing their house. First the hot water tank and later the base boards. Is Skylar grateful? Nope. She acts indignant. She condescendingly asks when he's going back to work already, because she's annoyed that his sawing and hammering is ruining her breakfast. As this goes on her skirts get lower and lower around her big prego mammaries. It's clear she's trying to draw the eye of her boss, Ted Benneke, who we are informed once put the moves on her at a company party (a fact that apparently she kept hidden from Walt...apparently she can keep secrets but he can't). Yes Ted is a scumbag for bedding the pregnant wife of man battling cancer, but it was Skylar who made the first move, knocking her cup of pencils over to get his attention one more time. Later she will reveal "IFT" in such a way as to punish Walt, but at the time she first did it, Walt was just (as far as she knew) a guy having the worst mid-life crisis possible. Instead of being considerate and loving to her spouse, she acted like a victim that deserved a little side-Benneke. Nevermind how complicit she becomes later on, helping Walt launder the money while simultaneously scolding him for making it. She's a miserable mewling quim and deserves every ounce of hate and scorn directed her way. Man I love this show.
Bravo. I said the same thing earlier in the thread. Would love to hear that bitch respond to that IRL.
Wait, what? Gotta be a joke right? http://nbc.com.co/vince-gilligan-an...gins-shooting-december-2015-walt-did-not-die/
Anyone watching the AMC marathon? Been catching a few episodes here and there. Maybe need to rewatch soon
Last two episodes I've caught were Jesse murdering Gale and Landry copping that kid. Either I'm catching particularly brutal episodes or this show is even darker than I remembered
Both. Full measure was incredible. Landry sniping the kid was brutal, but set the table for Landrys future on the show
Walt's season 5 decision-making is quite frustrating. Jesse and Mike were so close to getting out and Walt eventually gets Mike killed... which is a bummer for the show and the current Better Call Saul.
