Jai Alai is back in Georgia for good, apparently. grabbed a six pack, a 4 pack of Bells Best Brown, and a six pack of banquet tallboys for tomorrow's all-day tailgate. hope it's enough beer for me...
Hi. I finally found 3 Floyds Zombie Dust today and I bought a case. I called some place in Indiana and the lady said I lucked out because they just got a case in and they only get one case each month. Told her I was driving from Ohio and she said it would probably be gone when I get there. Turns out she held it for me #blessed. Dude at the local liquor store has been talking to me about it so I swapped a couple with him. He gave me a Dogfish Head 90 (which I've had) and a Midas Touch (which I hadn't even heard of). That's all I have to add to this thread.
Checked out a relatively new brewery in Denver after work. Been open since Nov 2014. Good stuff. Tried Biere de Garde, Schwarzbier, Chili Maibock, Salted Scotch, Uber Dunkel, Tart Cherry, and Red Saison.
KC is an easy 2.5 hour drive for me. STL is 6.5. I think really the main difference is stl gets jester king. I already get overwhelmed with stuff to buy in KC.
Went there on Wednesday while at The Source. Had Blueberry Farmhouse, Salted Scotch, Keyser Jose and Wardrobe Malfunction. Also bought a bottle of their Narcoleptic Schizophrenic from Small Batch Liquors in Tennyson Street which was delicious.
Took me a couple sips but I'm not a fan at all. It'd be a drain pour for me if the girl didn't like it
Yeah really wanna plan an Oktoberfest trip to Munich in the near future. Germany, Belgium, Netherlands beer trip would be amazing.
Help is on the way, dear! Made a beer run yesterday for the games today and for the NFL tomorrow. Going with the Oktoberfest right now in honor of the holiday festivities
Well good night beer freinds. I am going to drink myself into forgetting today. Hopefully some good beers are in my future tonight. Hotty Toddy and Go Cocks!
I've been. It is epic. Maybe it was because I was drunk but the German chicks were hotter than the girls in Stockholm, Sweden. Make sure to reserve for tents. The lines are ridiculous to get in if you don't have reservations. We had to have girls flirt with the guys in charge of the line and then bribe them.
Zwanze Day 2015 at Beachwood in Seal Beach, CA Kreik Bruocsella St Lamvinus Rose de Gambrinus Iris Zwanze 20015 and at this
Spaulding, k0s and I stumbled in here at 6:30et and all of this was still on tap. With hardly anyone in the bar still. But there was a line at 8am for an 11am opening. Woof.
GABF this week in Denver. Going to be getting worked hard this week, of course, but Thur/Fri/Sat gonna try and hit some tap take overs around town.
I call this: let's get really drunk 2015* *please excuse my avatar and refer to The Left thread for reasonings and unabashed craziness
No wait pfft we had 45 people there and a delicious buffet breakfast. Plus I had some Beachwood Citraholic and Russian River Blind Pig.
It was a tough night tonight. I had to make a difficult decision about what fresh beer I wanted to drink while watching the Alabama-Ole Miss. I went with this one over Heady and Julius. It's a hard life folks
cold blooded respect also, had the Graham Cracker Stout you sent me the other day, was surprisingly good and subtly flavored
for the record I haven't posted much because a friend of my wifes went to rogues garage sale and brought us like 20 bombers of various rogue beers and I'm poor/cheap so I've been drinking those when I have a beer they're almost unanimously well below average, all their ales taste like they start with the exact same base, even their IPA is just super malty like all their other beers.
On that very trip right now. It's been awesome. I drank so much damn beer in the lowenbrau tent yesterday. Didn't have a reservation but i got in line around 7am to make sure we got a seat inside. Crazy day for opening ceremony.
