Season 3 set to air this fall. Will go up on Netflix immediately after the BBC2 finale for those that don't torrance.
True, but only 6 episodes makes for really fast pacing. They don't have time to drag anything out. Plus that's pretty traditional of British shows
So is this the only thread on this show? Last one get lost? Just finished episode 1. Feels like a better/British version of Boardwalk
1st 2 episodes were great. from the above posts i guess there's only 6 episodes per season and that's somewhat depressing.
Finished season 2.... Very good, especially the finale. It can't be beat for set design and the cast is superb. I wish he would end up with the horse trainer.
My wife loves the horse trainer, but I've loved Annabelle Wallis since Pan Am also fun fact the horse trainer is married to Tom Hardy
Yeah I hope he ends up with May and tells Grace to get fucked. I feel like one of the important Shelbys has to die this season, my money is on Arthur
S2 was substantially weaker than S1 imo...way too dramatic and forced...should've left Sam Neill dead
Thought the beginning of season 2 was a bit weak, but the last two episodes were great. Don't disagree with Sam Neill being left dead will be interested to see where they take season 3.
New thread so must repost this. One of the best scenes I've ever seen on TV as far as cinematography and combining it with the music.
With the way they've played up the coke thing I think there's pretty much no way that doesn't come back around on him at some point
On episode 4 of season 2. And yea it's definitely going to bring trouble on them. Bastard should have used a stronger rope.
Just finished up. That S2 finale was fantastic. Love the show and very much looking forward to S3. Seems most like May but I'm a fan of Grace
Just caught up. Tom Hardy absolutely steals the 2nd season imo, fantastic performance. The sets are fucking amazing. I love seeing those dock/canal shots.
Aside from Downton Abbey and Sherlock you rarely see British television programmes receive their proper due.
I mean Broadchurch is a prime example. Some of the best television I've seen. The Fall is another. Luther, etc.
Finally got around to watching the first 4 episodes. Absolutely loving this show so far. I find it funny how I struggle to understand the brogue in the first episode and then after that I don't ever think twice about understanding. Weird how you adapt. I also am such a big Cillian fan from this show that I just went and downloaded all of his movies.
Just finished the first 2 seasons. Like a better version of boardwalk empire meets sons of anarchy. The characters are great, and Cillian just kills it in every scene.
