They’re the luckiest team I’ve ever seen in any sport. No injuries, opponent stars get injured the week before and they’ve had at least a half dozen red cards get “overturned” on VAR that I’ve seen. Now, even with that they still have to produce and they have but this has been a perfect storm of factors.
Kusen has 80 fucking points this season and they haven’t even played yet today. Hope Xabi gets his junior treble.
Absolute bullshit in the Schalke match. Ouedragao gets an arm around him going for a header resulting in a penalty and a second yellow, gets overturned on VAR.
He’s badass. Saw him get red carded in a match and went over to the ultras section and sat with them, drinking beers. Phenomenal.
Even Schalke went right back up once. The stupid clock was just tempting fate. Schalke securing (literal) survival for at least another season on Tuesday. Yay.
It’s funny you mention the clock. When they got relegated and tried to burn the stadium down I had a feeling they wouldn’t be back up. The clock was like a totem that they destroyed and angered the promotion gods.
There’s a huge portion of our dumbass fanbase that are happy about this. This is a bigger disaster than hiring him in the first place.
