It’s like your home senses when you’re 2 months away from clearing your student loan payments from monthly expenses
And now the furnace blower isn’t kicking on. Stopped sometime overnight but seems to be pumping out a bit of heat in a lower gear. Home ownership is fun.
Just affirm everything! But seriously my wife and I got out control with the short term 0% payment plans when we moved. I think I had 5 myself at one point.
Lol yep. I have a mattress and another thing I'm paying on right now that will both come off soon. Think I'm going to stop the 0% interest stuff. That shit is annoying as hell getting nickel and dimed by like 5 different things every month.
Yeah seems cool at first until you get multiple texts in one day "Your affirm payment is due tomorrow" "Your afterpay payment is due tomorrow". I think the best setup is the Paypal in 4. Spreads it out just enough to ease the pain but not too long where it feels like you're paying it forever.
GOOD NEWS Appears to be a basic limiter switch and under $200 to repair. So I’m sure my wife will want to spend the savings on the fridge upgrade since we “saved” money.
I just want a fridge with a water line for ice and filtration instead of filling our Brita pitcher constantly
i feel this way about cars now. my honda pilot's key fob battery needs to be replaced way too often and now i'm having issues getting it to start unless i wave it at the exact right time. the damn car has 100K miles. just give me a fucking key that i can crank.
two 4x4 windows and two slider doors, want to replace them with impact glass first quote 13k jesus h christ second quote next week
Buyer wants a foundation inspection on Monday, pretty common for this area but still makes me nervous
Been doing this for YEARS, and we finally got tired of our old side by side fridge that’s now in the garage. Got a Kitchenaid fridge and dishwasher as my wife and I’s Christmas presents. Love them both and the ice/water without having to open it. Good luck with the fridge search.
Pro tip: don’t forget to measure entrances into your home as well as the fridge area Spoiler Yes, should be OK if the doors come off, but fucking hell at not thinking about it before
Our house is 120 years old. Anything made within the past 30-40 years is too big. We had to go with a Sleep Number bed because we can’t fit a king mattress up our stairwell.
I'm pretty sure standard sizes have grown We had a hell of a time getting a king mattress up the stairs to the guest loft at my dad's house a few years ago. That was the only living quarters when they first were building the house, I was like 2, but dad swore they had a king bed up there while the rest of the house was being built.
Taking the doors off can be a huge pain in the ass as well. My advice is take the doors off as a last resort
Had several french door refrigerators. Most of them are going to have a water line + wiring that goes into the door that you'll have to disconnect (and then reconnect). Plus mounting brackets that the door sits on. Not especially hard to remove but it takes some work to get the entire assembly off. Plus taking the freezer for off
Hopefully he's talking about the fridge doors and not the house door. I've had to do the former before and that's not bad Eta saw the edit and maybe I just got lucky. I've also gotten away with just removing protruding door handles in one case.
It's not particularly hard it's just a pain in the ass and time consuming. Like my freezer door (drawer??) wouldn't just come out like a dresser drawer would which was really annoying. You had to remove the face of it.
So I'm thinking of building a Townhome, what are the rates supposed to look at by the end of this year? Right now they have me at a 5.75
Even though my new house had a fridge I brought mine from Texas cause it was a brand new fridge and everyone takes their fridge in Texas. Get there and it didn’t fit the cabinet space so I got a brand new $2k fridge in my outdoor shed.
Has anyone ever regretted going up in size for a tv? Originally was the inking 75 but the 85 was speaking to me when I went to Best Buy to look.
Depending on room size you definitely can go too big. I stayed in an air bnb and watching tv on the couch was like sitting front row at a movie theater. Had to turn your head side to side to see everything.
