They added the pit too. Sounds like something similar to rifts? They also apparently made all the boss mats drop randomly in addition to the target farming, that should hopefully help the grind of getting to spawn andariel and duriel.
Pretty sure we get that next week. This is the same team that did season 2, so I'm expecting good seasonal mechanics
Went over the entire VOD, so it seems like rares will quickly be useless very early on in WT4 since they only drop 2 affixes max instead of 3 and cannot drop greater affixes. Wish there was an option then to auto salvage all rares upon drop.
It seems like they're streamlining crafting as well, they mentioned dropping the number of potential crafting materials. Maybe we won't need to pick up 10,000 rare items to salvage them moving forward
I just want an option to no longer interact with them since they'll essentially be useless a couple of hours after entering WT4
I wondered if adding something from the codex to a rare will add the other affixes So find a rare with 2 desirable affixes, add something from the codex to it and gamble the 3rd affix
Patch notes look promising, a lot of things they should have done to start with not sure how the fucked up release so bad
Never be OP? What do you mean It should. The new crafting system looks fairly good, they made the skill codex system not garbage too. Changed loot enough to where you don't have to spend 20min trying to decipher all the rares you picked up during a dungeon.
Just started playing on game pass after being a day 1 D2 and D3 player. Ran through with a barb to level 60 in a few days. excited for Tuesday. Any “must do’s” before the new season?
Finish the campaign, do the altars of Lilith, work on the reputation for each of the regions to at least unlock the skill points
Started a necro after looking at tier lists The number one build is very passive, legit might respec away from it because it's boring
I'm barely 30 and the play style is run around and cast your two crowd controls while the minions beat
So completely mindless. Spam decrepify and watch minions bulldoze. Probably going to stop playing that and switch to frozen orb sorc
Ice Sorc was what I played on release. Have tried other classes each season still, and ice sorc has been my favorite. Going for that this season.
I loved rapid fire demon hunter in diablo 3. Doing rogue this season and hoping rapid fire is viable end game somehow. Traps and other bs so boring to me.
I wonder if the op necromancer build is the one I was running before Blight, decrepify, maxed out minions, blighted corpse tendrils, golem slam constantly, corpse explosion
Now I can justify my party members not being able to see the floor because of blighted corpse explosion too
Reached WT3 on my incinerate Sorc. Can't decide if I see how far I can take incinerate or go ahead and make the swap to frozen orb
As someone who likes to watch movies and chill while playing one handed not paying much attention, I feel I was dumb to not pick necro minion this season and go rogue instead.
