Found the option to “reduce loud noises” or whatever on the player menu. Not sure why they went overboard on the SFX volume in the first place.
The ending of episode 5 seemed to set it all up pretty well for the second half. The trailer looked good.
I enjoyed the 1st half of S3. Some solid Witcher-ing stuff and the "drama" storylines are much better this season than last. All them witches lookin fine af this season. Except Fringilla she's doin that freshman 15 drinkin wine all day err day. Not sure where her story is going exactly but it's the only one that I really haven't cared for so far this season, but maybe there's a payoff coming.
I hate to say it... but she was 100x hotter in the mask the night they went out in Ciri's hometown. Her only semi-non redeeming quality is the nose and the mask took care of that. Tissaia is actually my favorite bonk out of all of them. She's got that "I'd straight dominate you" cougar look.
Been a while since I watched S1-2 but when did Dara join up with the elves and somehow work his way up to being so close with the elven leadership? edit: Dara not Mousesack
nvm for anyone else that hasn't watched S2 in a while - Djijkjkstra hatched up a plan to plant him into the elf world after a conversation with Phillipa's Owl. Decided to put S2 on in the background while working today and came across that in episode 4
Weird the first half of Season 3 made me go back and watch Season 2 and I enjoyed it much more the second time through
This season is pretty meh. Glad they've all moved past the betrayal and sacrificing so quickly. Special effects have been spotty. Yen is still smoking. This will be unwatchable without Cavill. Bet it gets cancelled after S4. Apparently they already saw a 30% drop off.
ahh, that is weird. I was thinking it would be 5 more episodes since they released 5 the first time, but you are probably right.
Finished the setting is cool, the world lore is established, beloved characters exist and there are books and books of screen ready canon material that has never been adapted for TV and yet, the writing is shit. wont watch without Cavill
I’ll watch one episode just to laugh at Hemmsworth trying to do a Geralt impression. He’s going to try so hard to do the trademark grunt and fail.
In the same boat as Hoss. I know for an absolute fact the show is going to be bad with Hemms playing Geralt but I'm going to watch 1 episode just to confirm and be rid of the show
i have no with her experience outside this show. I thought it was better than season 2. However, the end of episode 8 made me mad with how it ends and episode 7 sucks
so glad I never read the books and only played the game. This is a good show. I understand why if you read the books it may not feel that way, but as its own thing it is really good.
I think I forgot literally everything that happened in S2, because I was completely lost for the first half of S3.
Oh you didn't like Ciri using a napkin to try and heal her unicorn's sand monster puncture wound? That scene legitimately made me laugh. Like oh shit you're gushing blood and the corruption is already spreading around the wound. Hold tight I got this cheese cloth I honestly forgot they spent an entire episode on a bunch of hugabaloo mediocre character development between nurse Ciri and the Sisterhood of the traveling pants stuff. Episodes 6 & 8 being book ends on that episode probably overshadowed how bad it was. Like maybe we needed a second to cool off after the Aratuza battle, but we didn't need to waste a whole episode doing it
