Fwiw only two of those rifles are larger than 308 (the Barrett in .50BMG and the Cheytac in .408Cheytac)
The big one in Atlanta? I wish. Would love to pick up some knives direct from the makers, especially any of the South African makers. Did you make it?
Yeah a couple. Always a good time at that show but it's got too much stuff mixed in (preppers and survivalist type stuff). You seem like more of a NYCKS guy (all custom tac folders). It's usually the weekend before thanksgiving if I remember right.
Gun shows have too much weird shit mixed in too. I love when these big knife shows happen as a week or two later all my favorite on-line shops start posting new custom stuff.
How in the hell is this even useful? A 100 round pack of .45 acp for my G4 41 feels like a brick to begin with.
I guess I should have clarified, I ment price wise. My Tikka does me just fine out too 800 yards and with the optics the rifle and scope set me back $1000.
Can you give me the names of those guys who make tomahawks again? We had a convo about them yesterday and I couldn't find them.
Speaking of tomahawks. When I was in Afghan my buddy in the 101st got deployed to the same base I was at. First time we met to hang out he showed me the tomahawk he was carrying around. I was like "the fuck are you carrying that for?" and he goes "cause if shit goes down again I want to scalp a motherfucker this time".
RMJ Winkler Elmer Roush Strider Tracker Dan Jerry Hossom Etc Some of these guys have CRKT production versions in the $125 range. Custom we're talking a lot more. Check out the RMJ Jenny Wren for vest carry.
I hope 3 hours is enough, at $250/hr it better be. Have cases of 9, 38, 45 & 223 on the way. Already have a bunch of commits, plan on capping it around 20 people. I'll be bringing a couple dozen guns, won't be looking forward to cleaning them all. Going to familiarize a bunch of noobs with firearms. The outdoors isn't for everyone. The women are handling the food/snack aspect. To the left is the range and to the right is a kitchen area and big screen. Who knows, if enough people like it we may make it an annual thing.
I purchased this guy online yesterday https://www.deguns.net/dpms-tpr-for-sale-tactical-precision-rifle-60546-p/60546.htm I like that it already has the AAC flash hider which will work with my current suppressor
Careful what you wish for, two new ones picked up today. Kimber Royal and a limited edition STI Marauder.
Anyone have experience with Dawson Precision or 10-8 Performance? I've read great things, but haven't seen anything but pictures online. I'm looking to swap out my PPQ & G19 MOS factory sights with plain black rear & tritium front. Appreciate your feedback
I've used both companies sights. 8-10 can fuck right off with their u-notch bullshit. What are these two guns used for?
Just returned from indoor shooting. Getting use to the range setting, still prefer outdoor. Both the Marauder and Kimber ran flawless, only shot 450 rounds total.
I plan on running PPQ in some shooting competitions. G19 is a range / home defense gun that I carry on occasion.
I don't do that rolling around on the ground and speed stuff, someone else would be better suited to answer. I'm all about that accuracy. I do like how Dawson sets their fiber optics a bit back in the sight, unlike other companies where it sticks out of the front and is distracting. 10-8 can eat shit.
My issue with Dawson, at least with the PPQ, is the fit of the rear sight. It just seems awkward. Spoiler Vs the 10-8 Spoiler I've considered this combo of the 2, because as you said, the Dawson front is great Spoiler
Get that u-notch nonsense, it's not like you need accuracy to hit the size of targets competition uses.
I've asked this before, but does anyone know much about war sport? I've got this AR that's a PSA lower with magpul furniture and the upper is PSA with a war sport 16" barrel, hera 15" handguard and a compensator. The list price on the barrel and the handguard are pretty impressive but I don't really know shit about war sport. Not much to know about a handguard Gonna try and sell it soon
You talking about the full size? I have disliked about every MP except the shield. My dad has His old issued 40 and he can't even trade it in because no one will take it.
Atlantic Tactical in Somerset has a little 5-rd S&W .38 special for like $377. You'll need your retired military credentials to buy.
I have a S&W Chief Special. It's pretty pimp, but not the cheapest option. I used to have a Ruger .38 special that was inexpensive and shot well. I ended up trading it.
Trijicon rmr on sale for 350 http://www.cabelas.com/product/TRIJ...edium=AFF&utm_source=35987&rid=12&WT.tsrc=AFF
Decided to hold off on the PPQ, for now. I did order the lower 1/3rd co-witness Dawson sights for my G19 MOS w/RMR setup. Super impressed with their customer service
Cop discount. Usually its bigger, but they wouldnt drop much more off of it because it was so cheap anyway. $215 for two 8 round mags, a 7 and the gun. I did buy 100 rounds of HST too. Bought a holster from CYA supply company today. Its Kydex or some material like it. Next step is adding night sights. I am thinking about only adding a front night sight on this one and see how I like it.
Whelp I just looked at every 1911 under the sun. Thinking real hard about a great condition previously owned Kimber Custom II with night sites for $800. Think I'd like to shoot a bunch of them first, but that seems like a great price.
