Last night I found out that I had 3 extra tickets to Opening Day. I called around and pulled together a group by 9:00am. Two hours later Fancy sends a message in GroupMe saying he's in DFW and looking to meet up with people. So instead of watching championship caliber baseball with yours truly he'll be eating by himself at the Grapevine Whataburger.

This is why don't wait until the last minute people.

Probably could have gotten a.tramp a hallpass too if it was a TMB meetup

I'm done with joey Gallo. No reason to put a bat in his hand. Put profar or Robinson at 3rd. Dude struck out 19 times in 25 appearances last year and went 0-3 with 2 strikeouts yesterday. He is not a major league caliber player. His swing is way too long and slow for this level. we should have traded him when he had value. It's amazing to me that our front office couldn't look at his swing and see this coming.

I think our offense will be solid this year assuming we stay injury free. We hit the ball well yesterday, much better than our stat line suggested, and off an All Star pitcher to boot. A lot of hard hit balls right at defenders.

I'm still not high on Choo or Napoli. I think both are overrated and past their prime, and Choo is an injury machine. Would rather see Rua over both of them.

as for your Napoli comment, he did hit a career high in HRs last year (I know that doesn't mean much). think he can give you more than Moreland could have at 1B. I do want to see Rua some more

Profar looked decent at the plate. Gallo, not so much. I'm done with him too

if choo can stay healthy, that will be excellent, as he could be the most important piece in the lineup
