Just got my ESEA C rating. New grind, it seems slightly more organized than mm so far though which is nice.
Well this is the official CSGO thread. ESEA is a client to play comparable to match making at a higher level.
So is that separate from the game or built in? I have cs:go but never really played. I may need to try it again. I can't play with you guys though right?
i'm still low level and not very good so we could queue together i think i had a bad run last night. went like 1-5 with some cancerous teammates and ran into the same cheater two or three times
They have an external client which matches you up and launches csgo into the server for you. Yeah it would be hard for everyone to play together, I would be up for buying a smurf account if we wanted to try though.
i wish i could pay like $5 or $10 a month to only match with people who are like 20 and older. i spent 30 rounds with some kid who went by Adolf H. Hitler, had a swastika as his avatar, and spammed lines of swastikas into chat every round. you can imagine how annoying this kid was over voice chat. he was better than me, though so
yeah used to play with a lot of those types. gets really old but i usually just mute them. prime matchmaking has made it much less frequent
I guess that's pretty much what ESEA does. You pay for a more mature competitive environment, and I have heard one kids voice (though he wasn't disruptive) in 12 games so far. Also I just got out of a match where I went 29-4 at half on overpass T side awping with 6 3Ks. Best moment of CS yet, they definitely thought I was cheating. https://play.esea.net/index.php?s=stats&d=match&id=9506540
there was a new thread created imo https://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/new-official-pc-gaming-thread.167989/
literally the only reason for me too though i bought the division eventually, but luckily that was playable through steam (until it got patched into oblivion)
You may be thinking UPlay (Ubisoft). Origin is for EA games. Origin Access is the same as EA Access on Xbox One.
paid for a month of origin access a while back to play the mass effect trilogy. worth it. def not something i would keep all of the time due to a more limited selection than ea access.
it has been released as early access for $30 i believe playerunknowns (creator of original br arma mod and h1z1 kotk) new battle royale game. looks to be the best yet in the genre but it's still very early.
watched a lot of that game on twitch as seemingly all the cool kids are playing it looks dope but doubt my PC can play it
For anyone who hasn't played it yet, Inside is absolutely fantastic. Even better than Limbo. I'm almost finished so I can't comment on the ending, but the game design is absolutely genius.
I beat Dying Light and am now into The Following. Total time thus far is 92 hours. The Following is pretty brutal, esp getting caught out at night.
Anyone playing PlayerUnknown's Battleground? It's a team or solo based survival FPS with a huge map and a zone that moves where all the fighting happens. 100 people per match and you start each game with no weapons or extra shit such as backpacks.
How many of you guys are planning on buying Destiny? Just trying to figure out if I need to pre order on multiple platforms or not.
Kind of feeling a sim game.... I'm willing to spend up to about $65 (which can be 2 of these), so has anyone played the following? Tropico 5 Civilization 6 (I've never actually played a Civ before) Total War: Rome II Ultimate General: Civil War
Civ is the way to go. Can be a little slow paced, but if you're chiefing, it's a great game to spend hours with high.
civ games are well made and all that but i could never really get into them maybe like 10 years ago my friend hosted a lan party and like 7 or 8 of us played civ 4 for like 20 hours between friday and sunday. that was cool.
Agreed. There are so many ways to play and win the game other than World Domination, but never got into winning via Religion, etc. Still had fun rolling over the PC players with my buddy in B-52s and Nukes while the PC had chariots and shit.
