Yeah never had that be an issue. I leave as soon as the match ends sometimes, never been punished. There is nothing in this game making you stay once the game ends. Whether it's loading, showing potg or the score board you can just leave without any penalty.
so Genji nerfed pretty hard be curious how much Hanzos buff actually helps him be a consistent pick in competitive, since he's probably the character I'm best with but feel like hes not quite good enough as an asset for competitive will likely go all in this season, got super frustrated last season with leaver issues
Genji in the right hands was a nightmare. This nerf won't impact average players as much as the top tier. the fuckers who are impossible to hit because they are jumping all over the place got a nerf. Regular Genji users should only get hit by the 2 second ult loss.
I think the leaver issue got worked out. I quit playing for the same reason, picked competitive back up this week and have played a bunch of games, only had people leave in one or two games
Things I hate in overwatch 1. Mei 2A: quitters 2B: People who only use their "main" regardless of team makeup. 3. Hanzo or widowmaker only players 4. Genji only players 5. the Hanzo or widowmaker only pros that play Ana and don't heal 6. Playing Hanamura on repeat for hours. 7. Mei again 8. People that are better than me 9. People that don't switch characters even if you're getting steamrolled and you probably shouldn't be Hanzo when the other team is currently on the point right outside your door and capturing your point.
I dont really have a main since i get bored if i play the same champ over and over. I play Road hog, Hanzo, junkrat, Reaper, Parah, Soldier 76, Mei, Torbjorn, bastion, Lucio and Mercy. I almost never touch the rest.
Tons of hours on roadhog, probably 60+. Usually play reaper if I don't roadhog, and mercy if I have to heal.
I play what's needed and have yet to fully discover what other characters offer because of that. I like junk rat the most but I spend most of my time as either zenyatta or roadhog and have a blast playing both
Not soon enough. I forgot how much I hated quick play. Also, you are assigned awards on your highest achieved rank in a season, not your final rank. Feel free to keep plowing away over wins...
McCree and Pharah are probably my best characters. I'm pretty good with all the attackers sans Genji. I also think I play good junkrat and Zarya. Reinhardt is still my favorite though.
Roadhog is so much fun. I love that mccree is getting to be more popular. Snapping him up as soon as he starts high noon then 1 shotting him is glorious every time
Yup. Teams usually need tanks, and he's great at being an offtank or main. So much fun, especially when you get great at the hook. I usually come out of a game with 70ish percent landed
I would say I'm zenyatta or Lucio 90% of the time. Do we have a list of gamer tags for the Xbox people? Mine's SamMeatballs.
I think you need a Dva just to lay down all that firepower and to clear shit out with her ultra. Offensive person + Bastion + Roadhog/Reinhardt + Diva + healer. Maybe sub in a Junkrat if someone is really good with him. No clue why everyone has to be Hanzo though.
Meh fuck bastion. Sub him in with another offense or defense. Bastions players mostly suck at what they do and are only better situationally in some cases, but no one really seems to play them like that. I'll play a bastion in my group for one or two choke points, then immediately change. SoloQ bastion guy is worse than hanzo guy. Really glad no one plays him in competitive. It was really nice to not have to play against shitty bastions and meis constantly like there are in quick play.
As someone who plays a ton of Lucio, this makes me nervous. Saw the post on battlenet where the dude played his placement matches with his friend, but he was only a diamond while his friend was master level. Now the 2 can't play together in ranked. It shouldn't only be immediate tiers that can play together, it should be 1 or 2 removed or something.
All of the shorts have been great, that one was really well done. Can't wait for the leaps in technology to give us that level of detail for in game graphics.
