The dude who plays Simpson displayed the worst acting since Sofia Coppola in Godfather 3. Jessica Jones was stretched out way too much, some aspects were very repetitive. It would have been immeasurably better without 3 to 4 completely useless episodes. Daredevil S1 was immeasurably better for me.
I loved the line, but that's applicable to pretty much every hero in the Marvel universe not named Steve Rogers.
Almost said what the hell are you talking about. I then proceeded to look at the post right above yours and got the joke
I came. Maybe twice. I'm confused. Regardless, goodbye at any chance of leaving my house this weekend.
just signed up for Netflix and my shit isn't playing in HD. also, is 2.0 audio the highest it goes on Netflix?
I can understand why they want it to drop at the same time over the whole world but make it 12:01 EDT. 12:01 any other time zone is silly.
despite the less than stellar reviews, i'm still excited for this. not exactly sure when i'm going to watch (not sure i agree launching with march madness, but netflix obviously knows better than i do), but i'm looking forward to it.
first ep Spoiler solid first episode. surprised they already had daredevil and the punisher square off (especially considering we didn't see fisk until like 6 episodes in last season). not sure why the punisher walked away when he had daredevil on the ground defenseless, but that's the suspension of disbelief for shows like this, i guess.
Besides Sepinwall, all the reviews I have seen have been incredibly positive. Firing up Episode 1 of Season 2 now, and I am very excited.
Think it was him, thr maybe and vulture. That said, I liked episode 1. Looking forward to watching the rest of the season
I have a question about the end of episode three in the beginning of episode four. Spoiler how did the punisher escape? He was unconscious on the elevator.
Jesus christ...can screenwriters please get rid of the trope of people willingly walking slowly in the rain like it's no big deal? No one fucking does that.
some of the best writing I've ever seen- so well done Spoiler Fisk shattering his restraints and beating up Matt was awesome- Murdock realized how much he fucked up on that one. Also the Black Hand shit it boring- I much prefer the mob/kingpin/punisher storylines
I just finished. I thought it was good, but not great. Started off incredibly strong, but it lost a lot of momentum in the second half of the season, IMO. I can understand some of the luke warm reviews. Two things that really bothered me: Spoiler 1. Karen Page is hired as a journalist at a major newspaper without ever writing one article in her entire life? Come on. She was a legal assistant. I understand her investigative skills are somehow impressive, but she's never shown any writing ability whatsoever. 2. The Colonel being the Big Bad for Frank just seemed incredibly lazy writing. The coincidence his old CO is this criminal mastermind was too convenient for me to buy. Just too neat.
