These are the genesis of my sneaker obsession. I remember being 10 at the nba all star game in San Antonio, the year the zoom flight 95s came out and I wanted them so damn bad. I always had the Kemp's b/c my uncle was his agent and my dad refused to let me wear anything else. The next year the question 1 came out and I wanted those, Jordan 12s, zoom flight V. I'm nostalgia-ing hard af right now. I wish I didn't look like a complete douche wearing any basketball shoes other than J's casually, I'd have a lot more 90's basketball in my rotation.

pretty much the same...was never big into Jordans but give me the Kamikazes, Zoom Flight 95s, Penny's Foamposites, a little later on the T-Macs (arguably my fave to this day). I guess it's a low-key faux pas to rock non Jordan basketball shoes on the streets these days but I don't really care about that shit. Not sure where people get the idea I'm looking to ball. I like cool shoes that you can wear with jeans or shorts or even with khakis and a work polo. The only "performance" shoe my white ass owns is made by Brooks.
I think i misunderstood your “signature shoe” and “basketball ball” shoe references. The shoes that pearl just posted are technically signature basketball shoes but I don’t think anyone would refer to them as that. It just seemed like you were asking for shoes to wear to be active in and not as fashion.

PE with Pops thing at daughter's school this morning. I looked down and laughed, I didn't realize she'd torched these so bad. She says they have been well loved lol.

Yea they are going in the washing machine tonight, will see how they come out. They were already beat up but it rained last night and they played soccer this morning as part of the PE thing so yea they got torched. She's loved that pair though, her og res and Infrareds in this size are still in decent shape bc she's worn these so much. And she's gotten into sandals and being fancy
Travis Scott is doing a thing here where high school kids can submit their design and if he picks it he’ll co create the shoe with them at his lab (of which I’ve been to nbd).
The velcro version is so so so good for kids. G was already in a 13c when they came out with it and it goes away at 1y but man she loved that pair more than any others she had bc she never had to worry about the laces. All kids shoes should be like that. They still look good but are super functional.
You can't fit a 15? Pretty sure that's the biggest they made in this one, it's the super limited one.
