I know nobody wants to say it out loud but casemiro is painfully washed and we cannot have him as first choice in the 11 next season
To be fair, the pandemic made the last four years feel like 10 so 2017 definitely feels much farther away.
I'll have to go back and find the post, but somewhere in this thread we had the same discussion a few years ago about how United has been making the same transfer strategy mistakes for nearly two decades. Buy late career former superstar player still performing well but on the verge of career slowdown at high price. Pay him exorbitant wages. Player plays well his first year, maybe some small injuries but nothing major. United decides to make no new investments for his future replacement even though the signs are there he's going downhill. By year two, player should no longer be an every game starter but because dipshit United didn't plan ahead, they don't have a backup plan and have to pull together a makeshift lineup. By year 3 it's complete disaster, major salary committed to a player who should never start nor see the field. Other players playing out of position.
Ratcliffe saying the right things about not wanting Mbappe but rather wanting to find the next Mbappe
Too bad we can't play Liverpool every week and instead have to face Brentford, Crystal Palace, and Bournemouth.
On one hand that sounds insane but on the other hand a lot of our best has come against them this year
Team is sleepwalking, where is the veteran leadership calling out Garnacho for that lack of effort? Watch how fast this season falls apart the last 6 weeks if they keep it up
ETH has done it to himself. Injury luck had been poor, but he also made horrific picks with his lineup and subs.
Zero formation or tactics. I have zero clue or faith in what he tells the midfield and seeing Maguire run in spaces the striker should be in is mind blowing.
Even if he needs to I'm sad he's leaving. Hopefully he can kick on in France or Italy or something. Atlanta United should kick the tires.
