Starting to think that another attacker is a bigger priority than DM. Need both but Welbeck isn't proving to be a goal scorer and not sure Giroud's form can continue.

Love Alexis, but he has been so wasteful in possession lately. Thought Bellerin and Ozil were good. Per had a decent game as well. Coq was good too. Really glad we don't have to put Flamini back there again.
Just got to finish it up. My personal highlights other than being happy they showed up. Oscar KO. I just loved it, mainly because he flops around like a douche on the stingiest of fouls. Lee's Ozil comments or lack there of. In the 57th minute he proclaimed Ozil was being "snuffed out" in the midfield and subsequently called for Danny to replace him. Gave me a good chuckle. Danny finally comes on, Ozil feeds him, literally creating the run because Danny was flat footed and he of course did nothing with the chance. Finally on the last cross, Ozil left the ball for Danny, who in turn completely missed it and left it for Chelsea. Really like Ramsey on the right hand side. What he lacks in the speed department he certainly makes up for in creativity. He created his own space at times.
No he just that when he's in front of goal, he has the body control and composure of a drunk paraplegic.
Ozil definitely whiffed with his left foot, but after missing had the quickness & prescence of mind to angle his right ankle so that the deflection would go straight to Wellbeck.
Ramsey wasn't bad at all, just don't see that as the answer. Hector's speed and ability to overlap helps but think Ox is clearly a better option and how he can create offense by himself and also get more space for Ozil. Ox is injured though so doesn't matter. Welbeck is annoying me but would still like to give him another chance on the wing. Maybe even put him on the left and Alexis on the right so Alexis isn't cutting in field all game and being selfish.
I agree that another attacker would be helpful (obviously Reus), but no cover at DM means we gamble the entire season on Coquelin's health. Which sounds exactly like something Wenger would do, by the way. When he gets his face caved in during an aerial battle or goes down with the inevitable 3-month injury, top 4 becomes the ceiling. With the players we have coming off the wage bill, we need & can afford: 1. Another DM, as cover or someone who can play beside Coq in certain situations 2. Upgrade in Goal. Sell Szcz, keep Ospina as #2 3. Another attacker 4. CB
Agree with that besides CB. Not sure how we can upgrade or why we would, give Gabriel a proper chance and Chambers has shown promise. Thought Chambers had more potential at DM but he's played defense his whole life and we can't afford to give him a trial by fire at DM.
Thought about that a bunch today and probably being stupid and sentimental but I can't quit the boy. Theo is hard enough, won't be able to handle both.
We don't get great info. I highly doubt it, doesn't make any sense. We either need a clear 1st choice or a younger keeper with potential, Iker is neither of those.
I'd like to see him get some time in next to Coq. That being said, I don't know if he is composed enough to provide what Santi can there.
The amount of articles and mad over this Chelsea boring stuff is pretty ridiculous. They seem to think the fans were being serious and it was an insult. Selling Santi makes no sense but if he wants to leave badly then what can you do, he doesn't have a ton of time left on his deal.
