Conveniently left out the shot of him screaming while on the phone. I mean fuck you're really judging how good he's going to be in the movie from 3-5 shots from one trailer.
Lol, so 4/5 shots are exactly the same expression. I'm judging him by the fact that he's always been a shitty actor. That face he is doing is the same shitty face he does in all of his films. The other dude was talking about "smugly bumping" his notion that Affleck would be good based on 3-5 shots from one trailer apparently. No idea about his logic there.
Interwebs buzzing that Letos Joker was Jason Todd, in a Red Hood/BatmanBeyond Return of the Joker sort of twist.
I've read the Jason Todd/Joker theories, but I haven't really seen anything to support it besides someone thinking it would be a cool idea. Has there been anything leaked besides fanboy speculation?
That theory would make the shot of the newspaper article about the attack on Metropolis and the writing that said "You let your family die" or something like that make sense. If the Joker is Jason, he would know that Bruce would be upset if some of his employees died.
Yeah, there's that and other thing/superficial stuff, like the Robin tat on his arm. Which could easily just be a way to mock Batman after killing him. It's just a theory, but it has gotten hot very recently. Team Batfleck
He could have been good. It wasn't his fault that the director, studio, writers, and everyone else in charge of the production set out to make the biggest, stupidest toy commercial ever.

Lots Of New "Batman v Superman" Details email to a friend By Garth FranklinWednesday July 29th 2015 10:11AM Following on from the fresh stills earlier this week, Empire has now published their feature story about Zack Snyder's upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" film and the greater overall DC cinematic universe initiative. First up, let's look at the new details revealed about "Batman v Superman". Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne is being played as a mid-40s version who has been working as the Caped Crusader for around twenty years and has "lost those near and dear to him, and not necessarily from old age of disease." Snyder says the arrival of Superman changes Wayne's perspective: "We want to assume that Batman has reached this point in his life and career as a superhero, and Superman represents a sort of philosophical change. He is a paradigm shift for Batman: 'I've been fighting criminals all my life, trying to find justice, and now I am confronted with a concept that is transcendent to me.' In the face of Superman, a man robbing a bank doesn't matter. He's having a crisis of conscience. 'Am I really just a vigilante who stalks the alleys of Gotham?' It is rich stuff that he deals with. Ben does an amazing job." Batman does have a history with The Joker and Harley Quinn, and is responsible for pretty much putting all of the members of the upcoming "Suicide Squad" in jail. Bruce Wayne lives in a lakeside retreat called the Glasshouse, away from Wayne Manor which lies in ruins, whilst Clark Kent is shacking up at Lois Lane's apartment. Lex Luthor meanwhile has his mansion which they shot using the interiors of a Detroit museum, but you won't see the bedroom as production designer Patrick Tatopoulos says: "Everything is a facade. You have no access to what is inside Lex." Tatopoulos also spoke about the Batmobile saying: "He is not driving a Formula 1 car, he's driving a tank that is very sexy looking. Batman is rougher, tougher, and grungier. So everything is rough: the weapons, the suit and the car. There are machine guns mounted on the front. When you first see the Batmobile, it is being fixed. It is not - boom! - coming out of the garage brand new. It is scratched, damaged." He also confirms that the Batwing is in the film and his designs were created with a "Justice League" project in mind: "With The Justice League coming, it influences my designs of the Batcave, the Batmobile, the Batwing. We are creating a world for Batman - every set, every prop, is real. We have to be ready for what's next." In a separate interview, "Longmire" actor Bailey Chase has confirmed that he has a role in the movie but not as a superhero. Rather, he has scenes with Amy Adams that involves horseback riding and takes place early on in the film. He also got to work with a retired SEAL for his part which required three weeks of rehearsal. Watching Throne of Atlantis this is a different universe from justice League Doom correct? But the same as Justice League War?
Yes. The comics rebooted the origins of their characters, and War is the first DCAU film set in that universe.
So all 22 episodes of the original "The Flash" series is streaming on CW Seed. http://www.cwseed.com/shows/the-flash-classic/pilot/?play=cc3f41ea-9753-4ee6-ba40-fd04c7cfe38d I loved it when I was a kid and severely disappointed when it was cancelled. We'll see how it stands up to the test of time tonight.
I'm still not really buying rumors about who Joker really is in the DCCU, but I was finishing Arkham Knight and I spotted something interesting. Probably just coincidence, but... Edit: Sorry, thegenerel I missed your post. Credit to you. This spoils the identity of the Arkham Knight Spoiler J under the left eye J under the left eye after being tortured by Joker for a year and driven insane
If the batman they're basing his character off of is from the dark knight returns comic then his age doesn't matter
That's the kind of Batman going for in this story arc. I think this Batman has already been at it for 15-20 years at the start of BvS
Yeah he's supposed to be older and burned out. It's not set in the DKR universe, but it took inspiration from that Bruce/Batman.
Spoiler In the 3rd Batman/Arkham game which just came out, a new villain was created by the name of "Arkham Knight". Instead of Jason Todd being killed by the Joker, he is kept hostage and tortured for an extended period of time. The Joker convinces him that Batman did not care about him and quickly found a new Robin, manipulating him into hating Batman. The Joker carved the J under Todd's left eye. Years later the Arkham Knight comes after Batman and its revealed to be Todd. so what does that mean for the DC movies? now people are surmising that Patrick Bateman didn't kill Paul Allen, but tortured him over the years, including tattooing a 'J' under his left eye as tribute to Bateman's secretary Jean (Chloe Sevigny). Paul Allen spends time working in that tranny bar shown early in the movie, then moves to Dallas and works for an underground HIV/AIDS meds clinic. He fakes his own death and twenty years later comes back as the Joker. I think.
