Tampa still makes the most sense. But any team willing to trade will have to include a young roster player... which I’m sure teams will agree to at the draft. If you are Tampa you need Point/Sergachev for your run.
Pretty much defeats the purpose of acquiring him if it opens up a hole elsewhere. I really want the Lightning to land him or McDonagh obviously but I think one of those two is the asking price and I don't think Yzerman will part with either one(and he shouldn't).
just out of curiousity if you came up with a hypothetical deal with the Flyers what would it look like?
Honestly don’t know much about Flyers prospects. Pierre is always saying you have a boatload of them. Provorov, 1st and a top prospect ( not Hart ).
Agree but the only thing I’d say is IF Hedman goes down for the year, are you confindent in sergachev carrying the mail? Can he step in and be a true #1 for 20 plus playoff games?
What would you be willing to do? Not sure about your prospects. Although my wife’s nephew plays with Morgan Frost and he thinks highly of him.
You hate to see Canada lose to such an inferior country in the one thing that they are supposedly good at Sad!
First time that’s happened since 1998. And I’m went back to 1932 and that was the only time. We tied one time but USA had more golds that year so tie-breaker. But it’s kind of funny seeing how poorly we’ve done in the past and see articles talk about how big of a slump we’ve been in this year. Obviously the more events skew things but there were years where we won 5 medals.
you would think a socialist country like Canada would be more accepting than a country led by Donald Trump but here we are
I will admit I haven’t watched a single game of men’s or women’s olympic hockey. Just hasn’t been on when I’ve been able to watch. Still really bummed about our woman’s curling performance
I watched the Canada czech game where Canada lost in the shoot out, was prettt annoyed at some of the stuff they didn’t call. Canada should have had a few more power plays and won in regulation.
All time is probably Germany but Nigeria has been sending a bunch of raw talent to high schools and colleges as of late
Lol yeah. But say hypothecally the NFL had a WBC type tournament and players that weren’t picked by USA and were able to reclassify based on parents nationality, I think the rest of the field would have interesting results
Canada is a clear number two. There is no right answer for #3. Aussie may have some physical players, maybe a LB or RB, but nothing in the other areas. Like QB. Which is similar to women’s hockey. After Canada and USA there is no real viable third country. Even with 30 years of the world starting to catch up.
Canadian qb’s > Australian qb’s? Anyway, back to hockey talk. If we decide to deal sprong I hope we get someone back that isn’t just a one year rental. Honestly if we could work something out for JG I’d be happy.
There is an American football world cup. US has obviously won every tourney its played in but out of 5 tournaments that have taken place Japan has won 2 and finished in 2nd twice
Price taking another half a year off, this motherfucker is going to bleed Molson dry with just a few incredible years. Get it? Molson dry But really I like his ability a lot but he is so lazy. Just 8 more years at 10.5...solid work bergevin
I'm hoping the Pens make a move for him and Letestu, bumps Rowney out (also from center, thank God) and makes them even faster without burning up major assets.
