Don't even know what to say other than

    Cliffs:
-T-wolves have 5/15 players on roster that are black
    - Rest of league is 75% black
    - Black Leaders of Minnesota think it's a strategy by management to get white fanbase behind team, calling them the '55 Lakers
    - Management says false, with 5 internationals, 5 white americans and 5 blacks
    - Coach calls them a 'smart team' only helping the stereotype of white athletes
    - Not racist, but use jumping stereotype to talk about white Chase Budinger jumping out of gym when black Brandon Roy cant :golfclap:

If there was a "White American Leadership Council" located in say, Houston and complained that there were too many blacks on the Rockets that person would get blasted by almost everyone.

I would donate monies to them for balls that would take.

Went back and bolded more funny parts. The "smart team" analogy from The League was brought up, and also, management says they aren't racist, then use stereotypes of jumping and compare white Budinger to black Brandon Roy haha

These black "civil rights leaders" do way more harm than good to their race. Complaining about the racial makeup of a fucking NBA team seems like a good use of your time and resources. Maybe the 3 out of 4 black children that are born out of wedlock could be a slightly more constructive issue to undertake.

    FYI (for those that care)

None of the jokers quoted are 'black leaders' in Minneapolis. My father and a number of the guys I came up with are very active in the 'black community' back home and are involved in a ton of things and none of them even know who these dudes are. This is a columnist getting a bad idea for a column and searching for folks that agree with him. Sure folks joke about the team being whiter than the rest of the league but nobody cares. Love, Rubio, AK-47, Buddinger, Shved is hardly a team trying to get whiter. That's a team assembling its best roster since KG left. So again, nobody cares and the writer is basically finding random black people to agree with him

some random group. I could start a group today and call it the 'Supreme Authority in the Black Community' and it could be me and my son handing out fried chicken recipes in front of our local Walgreens and yelling 'black power'. There are literally dozens if not hundreds of groups out there, most don't do squat.

Here's the problem with their logic:

The NBA has achieved unprecedented growth and popularity the exact same timeframe that white American stars have dwindled to almost zero.

Oklahoma City is white but the team is black, and I don't see those fans having a problem getting into the seats.

I remember back in those days ESPN or SI or someone did some breakdown of what he could feed his family every single meal, every single day until they died.

It was around $350 per plate and plenty of kobe filet mignon and caviar was involved.

Tyrone guy who said it. Said he has been to the area dozens of times and along with the PNW it is the most tolerant area of the country and has always supported athletes of all colors. They both agreed all any fan really cares about is winning and it was incredibly stupid to say something like this.
