Got to play some today in a men's league friendly. Got some runs in against Stetson's men's team. I was totally the worst player out there but had a blast. Then watched my boys play a game for playoff seeding after that. Damn fine lacrosse played in Florida these days.
The amount of talent that is gonna come out of there these five-ten years will be freakish good esp. if they start to get more quality coaches from the northeast tri-state and del-mar-va areas.
Also looks like the University of Texas just built a 4-million dollar lacrosse complex on campus this past November and the AD, President, and mascot were all on-hand opening day...hmmm interesting
Many many moons ago, I played for a very brief while with the UF club team. Finances changed and I had to grow up. Job took precedence over lax and ultimately school. Not whining though. Most of the guys on the team from Saturday are former UF guys. They have a few former D-1 players as well. UF vs FSU is pretty top notch lax.
UNC's offense looks loaded this year, it'll probably end up being the same deal as past years though with players getting burnt out towards the end of the season due to shitty practice schedule/bad gameday coaching. at least breschi seems to be playing more people so far though, something which he never did in the past
don't think so, he just tries to do the same stuff he did in high school which obviously doesnt work against d1 competition. still hasnt learned that lesson from last year apparently

Yeah when the D2 tourney was a northern team and a southern team. Being in the Northeast 10 we never had a chance with Le Moyne and Bentley.
lol at people using Laxpower ratings. It's a statistical computer rating system that means absolutely nothing, especially this early in the season when sample size is so small.
i went on lax.com, but i couldnt find the rankings, so i saw that laxpower was used recently and i used that
yeah the computer rankings wont mean a whole lot right now. the rankings you'll see used are over at insidelacrosse.com or they're even in the rankings you were looking at, just the "poll" component. insidelacrosse.com will have the coaches and media poll rankings right on the front page for future reference.
Well they can't say shit anymore, not with two national championships and six straight NC game appearances. To start they year they have beaten Rollins 22-3 and Florida Southern, 14-4. First big test is against No. 9 Merrimack on 3/10.
i know some unc lacrosse guys who were up visiting uva one weekend and had to pull huguely off of yeardley love because he was choking her up against a wall or something. this was a couple months before the murder too. obviously that guy is a fucking lunatic and without a doubt deserves death given that the whole relationship he was extremely abusive it seems

Denver looked pretty bad in a loss to tOSU last week. Probably keeping it with 7-8 would be a moral victory. Again though, I wouldn't take too much away from UM games until they get all those on campus they're recruiting.
