SD ran 74 plays to our 47 and held the ball for 17 more minutes. That's a pretty huge indictment on the offense and defense.
Time to start talking draft. Guessing we will be top 10 pick. Who are the top offensive weapons available? it's pretty clear that Matthew needs some more help.
This is still an 8-8/9-7 type team, just like we were last year. We were fortunate to win some games last year (like the game in London) that should have been losses, and we won't likely get the same bounces this year.
Matthew needs more weapons. He can't do it all by himself. I'm thinking Mike Thomas, Duke Williams, Derrick Henry or LaQuon Treadwell.
That was the sort of game that's the difference between hosting a home game in the playoffs, and not. Although in our case it will be the difference between making the playoffs and not.
Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back for me regarding the Lions. I'll still watch occasionally, but I just don't give a fuck about this team anymore. Stafford hasn't gotten better in 3 years.
Caldwell as the Stafford Whisperer hasn't seemed to make an impact. I'll miss Kelly Hall. Looking at the schedule, I think 5-6 wins is the best we're going to do. Picking somewhere between 7-10.
I'd also like to point out that Thom Brenneman and Charles Davis were unbearable with their commentary yesterday.
I'm impressed you made it this long. The Lions are my excuse to follow the NFL and a good way to occupy my time at 1:00 on Sunday. If they make the playoffs its a bonus.
Went to the game yesterday. Holy shit we were bad in most aspects other than Ameer Abdullah. Not being able to get a pass-rush push didn't help our secondary, but how the fuck do you give up a 20-yard crossing pattern catch-and-fun underneath on 3rd and 18? Also got a pretty substantial sunburn out of the proceedings.
Our LB play is absolutely embarrassing without Levy in the lineup. Caldwell and Lombardi better prepare for a shootout, or else we're going to get absolutely destroyed.
Considering we have DEN on SNF next week and then on the road in SEA for MNF the following week, 0-4 is entirely likely if we don't win today. Then we come back from that SEA game to play ARI on a short week. 0-5 wouldn't be shocking at that point. But lest we get ahead of ourselves.
I know that was just the first screen pass of the night, but opposing D's are just looking for them at this point.
And Stafford is getting absolutely demolished this season. People can question just how good he is, but the guy is a fucking warrior. I am not sure how much longer he can last behind this OL though. It's just amazing to see how much the OL has regressed under Caldwell and Lombardi.
I hate this team. I hate the idiots who hired Caldwell and Lombardi. I hate all the faggots who defended them last year.
It's like they wanna be like Ebron was a great pic and not bust! We're gonna run Pettigrew routes with him and do screens and shit. I hate this team.
Stafford is playing his best game in quite some time. It's a shame that it's going to be overlooked by the dumpster fire that has become the rest of the team.

The Chargers and Vikes both have meddling pass rushes and they are just killing Stafford. One of the Broncos or Seahawks may end his career
Looking at the schedule, 5 wins is a realistic possibility. Stafford is absolute garbage. For all of the resources we pulled into the offense every fucking year, he somehow manages to get worse every year. Matthew can thank Calvin for his mega extension he got a few years ago. He bailed him out countless times, by just chucking the ball down field, and having that freak Calvin come down with it. Now that Calvin is old, and slow, he has no one to bail him out
A big reason why: Suh, who for the second straight week was a nonfactor, strayed from Kevin Coyle’s script. The Miami Herald has learned that Suh freelanced at times Sunday, creating confusion on the defense. By taking matters into his own hands, the Dolphins’ $114 million man took a bad situation and made it worse. “I couldn’t tell you,” Suh said, when asked to explain his uninspired play. “At the end of the day, we have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what we want to run so guys can make plays and go from there.” Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article35922093.html#storylink=cpy
First down run count with Joique: 1 Screen count: 1 In fairness, this screen came on 3rd and 14 so it was an understandable call.
