Who are the coffee drinkers here? What do you drink? I make DD in the morning and then black tea in the afternoon....gets me through the day. Ready to wrap up a Monday.
I take mine with two slendas and skim milk.........only been drinking it for a few months. After a trip to Boston in April....I am a dunkin man. Even had a dunkin in Fenway and the train stations.
watch it. I drink Starbucks daily. The simple answer is I am lazy and I hate cleaning up the coffee maker after I brew it. Venti Iced Coffee for me, either black or with half and half.
There's a place in Chattanooga called Chattz that has the best coffee I've had yet. They roast their own beans and it's extremely fresh tasting. But I have a coffee-maker at home and buy either Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Greenlife or Chattz coffee depending on where I am when I need to buy it. As for Starbucks, I only ever get their Espresso [4-shots].

i like mine w/ half and half and splenda. coffee is one of the 3 non-alcoholic drinks i even drink anymore, along with water and unsweetened iced tea. i like brewing it myself.
I grind and brew my own every morning. I don't have a job so the best way for me to get out of bed at a reasonable time in the morning is to set the delay brew on my coffee maker so that when my alarm goes off I can smell the coffee and I know I have to get up if I want warm coffee. The two bags of coffee beans that I have in my house right now are both from Caribou (they had a sale). One bag is Mocha Java (a great dark roast blend with Ethopian beans from the port of Mokha blended with Javanese beans) and the other is Obsidian (a good dark roast blend w/ beans from Guatemala, Kenya, Ethiopia and New Guinea). I highly recommend the Mocha Java to anyone as it is my favorite coffee.
I've officially developed an addiction to Maxwell House French Vanilla. of course. What does everyone else drink?

Personally I'm not a big coffee guy unless it's cold outside but I'm drinking some now and it got me thinking. Which Mainboarders enjoy a good cup of Joe? How do you like your coffee? I like mine with a shit ton of cream and even more sugar.... probably because I don't like the taste of coffee. What about you?
YEs, yes it is. I like mine with a little cream. I don't drink it more than a few times a week though.

Con leche is so damn good! I work in Miami alot and I always look to the coffee. I have a client that makes it old school in his office and just passes out the little shots to all of his employees. That shit is addictive!
Any body else on this fucking board a queer coffee snob too? This is my first week with the Technivorm brewer and baratza vitruoso grinder system. I brew Kean coffees from Africa and Intelligentsia coffees from latin america. I'm getting pretty bad as I installed a reverse osmosis system in my house just to get the right mineral content in my water. I take my brew seriously -- and it's almost out of hand.
what about your beer? do you just drink whatever too? just curious if there's a correlation between how much you care about what you consume and what you actually do.

Good coffee and good brews make the mornings and evenings so much better. Dunkin Donuts over Starbucks freshly ground. IPAs, Belgian Ales and Guiness.
I'll be there eventually I'm sure. I'm already developing a severe dislike of Folgers and office coffee.

i got my dad 2lb of jamacian blue mountain coffee. was like 50 dollars a pound....it was the best coffee i ever had.
I drink Eight O'Clock coffee at home. I'm not sure how that is received in the world of coffee snobs (I've never really met one).

there's some nice coffee there. try the La Tortuga -- it's from Honduras and I think has a similar flavor profile. [of fuck i am such a fucking cunt]
I get their beans when I cant get to Sams to get my big bag of DD. I approve, its very solid. Grinding your own beans makes a big difference. Im above Folgers/office coffee but still below the high dollar exotics.
i'm sleeping fine. but i am dreaming of making fresh brew at the perfect 200 degrees water temp and fisting an asian supermodel. It's getting fucking insane. I DON'T EVEN LIKE ASIAN GIRLS.
