There's some rock bands on there I love: Idles, Interpol, Cage, Gary Clark, Mars Volta, JRad (hopefully 2 sets late night). Regardless I'm not going to this, but know I'd have a good time even though I haven't been in a while and pushing 40. I never got too caught up in headliners since it's usually a good time to roam or rest, but none of those excite me, and I'd never even heard of Fred Again.
I like this lineup. All the white women I know tell me Renee Rapp is going to be a star. My undercard pick would be The Beaches on Sunday
Their 2022 show at ACL was notoriously bad. Maybe it was an outlier idk but I went into that one with no expectations because I was really disappointed by their 2017 show that I went into with IRHCP expectations. That show I don’t think had the Frusc so that was my fault there
Totally get that, they definitely aren't as good as they were 2006ish, but its better since Frusc is back. The 2012-2017 era (specifically the backend of that) was really bad, I went to a show during that period that was the worst I've been to and I've seen them numerous times.
Not particularly On the fence this year tbh, roo is such a commitment (camping, travel) that the lineup has to be top tier
Before I dive into it, I will say it's been harder for me to find much love for the lineup. I have tried listening to the playlists. Will keep trying. I was checked out mentally last year. But ready for a vibe comeback this year. Probably only doing Fri-Sun, with Friday night the only night I potentially camp. Hoping to have my daughter with me Saturday and definitely Sunday. Edit add on: may bartend the Pretty Lights show if given the chance
I was thinking the same. They say the outeroo schedule will be out soon also. I wonder if we get a rock replacement for lovejoy?
