idk he was pretty damn good for a 21 yr old last year imo. Rough start to this year but it's only 58 AB's. He hasn't even turned 22 yet so I'd hold off on calling him a bust.

 

I briefly read that all of his batted ball stuff and defense has improved

 

I dont want to give up on him just yet, but it's hard to be optimistic with how terrible Cards development has been. However to his credit - his OF defense has improved a ton. But also - he needs to lift the ball.

 

He still hits the ball incredibly hard. Just into the dirt. Also chases everything low and away.

 

Walker is still hitting balls hard and his chase and whiff rates improved a good bit from last year. I think he'll be fine.

Also getting BABIPd hard. Down to .214 from .331 last year
