Just had a horrifying bad attack, 23% 0 star. They had three ADs all clumped together so I zapquake and LaLooned them and his max infernoes on multi slowly destroyed my hounds because my loon pathing was atrocious. GG. Also dumb, I'm our #1 as a brand new TH10 with level 1 infernos and 0 max defenses and so far have 100% of the time been matched against guys with max defenses (minus walls). Matchmaking is bad and should feel bad.
So ur gonna use that as ur excuse for not getting ur 2nd attack in when there were a couple fairly easy 3 starrable bases left in a war in which we lost by one star? They really need to fix that 24 hour cant log back in during war bug then.
Yes. Even talked with someone else about holding my attack and cleaning up if it became close. Got locked out. Kicked after putting up back to back perfect wars. And 3 starred during that war. Bush league. Team Swim

Anyone find a decent raiding set up for TH9 when your AQ is down? Having a tough time against other decent TH9s with loot with only the BK.
I have no net gain in elix or gold since the update, and a total of +6K DE due to raiders = pumps. So basically I'm never going to be able to update anything again forever.

No shield when your TH gets destroyed is kinda shitty. And whatever everyone is talking about getting booted for playing too much. Shit the grind on destiny is driving people away, can't imagine how bad the grind will be on this.
I like having to move my th inside and defending again. Yeah they could've done that differently, but whatever. I've gone days shieldless because legit attacks on a developed base seem sparse. Haven't run into the booting thing, but I don't play as much as I used to. Really like being able to attack and still keeping part of your shield.
I'm struggling to accept the new state of this game, but I do agree with your points. I'd like more of a reward for defending though, as you still stand to lose significant resources without gaining a shield. Why not give me the league rewards for each defense?
I wouldn't panic about the current state of raids/shields. They'll rebalance things soon. People quitting/not spending gems is the last thing they want. They've already got the extra $$ from the trophy pushing idiots who've gemmed max th11, now they'll try to retain the rest of us.
i play a fair amount and havent run into the getting booted problem. also have gone days without getting attacked. for every 5 times im attacked, probably 4 are people dropping leagues and 1 actual attack.
I have only been attacked once since the update. Everyone else is trophy dropping. Went from Gold 2 to Crystal 2 while failing all my attacks is cool, I guess.
I'm getting attacked more that I have a little DE. I'm just having fun govaping (with giants not golems) while I do a little trophy push.
My problem was that I was close to 8M elixir for max golems, 6.4M gold for an archer tower, and 125k DE for AQ25. Now that two of those upgrades are put in motion, my base isn't the juicy target it was. I'll probably only horde one resource at a time now, upgrading walls with the other resource.

Has anyone here ever just completely tanked their trophies down to like 20 and tried raiding down there? I think I'm gonna try it. Theoretically, that's where all the abandoned bases would fall down to, so the loot should be good.
Can you imagine the loot penalty for hitting a th 3. Plus new update ensures you get more ths that are your level. So you would probably find other th 10s that are like u.
