I use full tilt, but it seems to take forever to get my check back? Anyone know of another method to get money from them? For those that use another site, what site do you use? Im guessing Full Tilt is the best due to the amount of pro's I see with their shit on in the World Series, but at the same time it seemed like Party Poker had many more people on during the day, the main time that I play?
Pokerstars and FullTilt are the best sites to play on. I completely trust both of those sites and I don't think anything like what happened at Ultimate Bet or Absolute Poker could ever happen at either of these two sites. As far as getting your money faster, there's really no way to speed up the process. We have the UIGEA to thank for that, since they made it illegal for US banks to have direct deposit or withdrawal from poker sites it has made it take a lot longer to get money off the sites. Join the Poker Players Alliance, they are working hard along with Congressman Barney Frank to get this law overturned.
A huge cheating scandal. The two sites had what are known as "super-user" accounts that allowed all the other players hole cards to be seen. Millions of dollars were essentially stolen from players in the high stakes cash games and larger buy in tournaments. The two accounts that were caught doing this were "potripper" on Absolute Poker and "neo neo" on UB. Both sites have attempted to refund millions of dollars to their players, but the damage is already done and the integrity of these sites will always be in question. Personally I would never even think about playing at any of the smaller sites for this reason, but especially UB and Absolute.
