We may not be the most technically gifted team, but man we have an extremely athletic team. That speed between Yedlin and Morris :swoon:
Just had to DVR and watch later. Then had to tend to something for a couple hours in the 80th minute (down 3-2) and came back to finish it. What a fun freaking game. Even if it ended 3-2 loss i was thoroughly entertained to that point. I just cant believe how bad that Dutch D looked. When was the last time USA players have been on the doorstep like that, so often? From the early Zardes and Brek chances to the Brooks and Wood goals. SO much action in the 6 yard box. Heck even that Brooks goal that was called back. Bradley owned shit and i continue to notice how on point his corners have been. He's going to olimpico one in 2018. Also how many players go down on that winning run? Pure American run that was to stay up through it and play the winning pass. Guzan was strong. Brooks defense...ehhhhhhhhhhhhh. Now onto de Germans. We play them well then the Gold Cup is going to have to seriously prepare their collective anus.
This is why I get annoyed when people make the best athlete argument. Out team is athletic enough, we aren't skilled enough.
Finally got to watch the match and finally glad I got the Bobby Wood kit. Ye have no faith in Wood. I told you all just wait and see. Bobby Wood probably gonna be better than Dempsey.
Man fuck I'm not sure how to go to sleep after watching that. Awesome match and performance, so damn entertaining.
I mean, I don't disagree with your premise but you can always benefit from being more athletic. I don't think "athletic enough" is something that even exists in sports.
Prob no big surprise but Klinsmann said he's leaving Julian Green off the Gold Cup roster to let him focus on finding a new club. Still new to all the rules but remember that Zelalem isn't tied to our senior team yet and earliest that could happen would be Gold Cup. That said, do you think we will do it to lock him down or is he pretty solid to stay with our program?
Right so isn't that the reason we called up other dual nationals so early in the past? Was Green one? Either way curious to see if we will do it or if Klinsmann thinks we are above that now
@MLS: Klinsmann: Julian Green won't be part of @GoldCup roster --> http://t.co/PmHFUd05g0 #USMNT http://t.co/uPJus2OTd8
Good to see they're playing like the senior team. Deflection goal, lose possession 40/60, somehow squeak out a win.
Eh, they actually played pretty well considering Colombia was bigger, stronger, faster. Probably could have scored at least one more if Jordan Allen wasn't so shitty
So, repeat of WWII today? About to show the German's who's boss on their own turf. Spoiler JK we'll probably get raped [spoiler/]
Ok just bought a ticket to the USA vs. Guatemala game in Nashville. This will be my first USA game so I am really excited. Quick question. I bought a Ticket in the American Outlaw non member section. Can I pretty much sit wherever I want except for the AO member section? How does it work?
Member vs non member is just for pricing. You're only allowed in the AO section but you paid more than members would have to (like $5) because they paid for annual membership. AO sections as stated by others are GA. In Columbus they do a march to the stadium which is cool but sitting front row for the match is cooler
We went to the member bar and when walk out started we were at the head of the train, pick of our seats when we walked in. Best of both worlds.
Kyle McCarthy@kylejmccarthy Germany: Zieler; Rudy, Mustafi, Rüdiger, Hector; Schweinsteiger (c), Gündogan; Herrmann, Ozil, Schürrle; Götze
pretty interesting going with Johnson, Brooks, Chandler, and Danny Williams as 4 of our back 5. All German.
I just can't get on board with Chandler. Most likely due to him looking like a character from Dinosaurs.
