Ive been a big fan of his. I think he has looked good for the most part, in the limited minutes he has had. Looking forward to see what he can do with more PT
I agree he has shown flashes of being a very good player. He still plays faster then needed on the floor at times.
him. Great energy, great defense. Handle not so good, still needs to work on his shot. I think given more experience, he can become a rough Arron Afflalo, assuming the shot comes along.
His FT% gives me hope he can become a good 3 point shooter. And yeah, Afflalo is a good comparison. Rose Butler Deng Taj Noah intrigues me vs. Miami.
Our boy got the green light for full contact. Now its just a matter of getting in game shape and what not.
The one thing ill give GarPax credit for, is an uncanny ability to find good players later in the 1st round. Now if they could just find another star player, we may have something
That would be a disaster. Bargnani averages 4 rebounds a game for his career. Also gives you worse roster flexibility
That's sure what it looks like. I mean, Bargs is actually probably a better basketball fit for the team. I'd do it if he didn't have that last year, but he does. I'd be hopeful that they can get Mirotic in 1.5 years like they think they can. Also would hope that it's partly a move to avoid repeat tax offender status, so they could go into it at a later date for a better player.
I really hate him. He is the biggest reason why MJ bolted and why we only have 6 titles and not 8 or more. Thank god the Cubs and Blackhawks have good owners now.
He has a White Sox title already. He said his values that more, which isn't surprising, since he likes baseball more than basketball. He hasn't fucked anything that bad in recent years, but there's plenty of chances to be cheap coming up. If he takes them, I'm pretty much finished
Plus home court in the first was already clinched, ATL had nothing to play for. Night off for everyone pretty much
I keep hearing on the radio that Thibs will go to an 8-9 man rotation in the playoffs with Rose, Butler, Dunleavy, Gasol, Noah, Gibson, Mirotic, Henrich and Brooks. I really don't like how Thibs has Henrich above his rotation over Snell. I would love to see more of Snell in the playoffs. Even if Snell is off on offense, he is a much better defender than Henrich and if his offensive game is on, that is miles above what Henrich could do. I am really interested to see Snell get more minutes next year when the Bulls get rid of Dunleavy and his contract.
His devotion to Heinrich, who may be one of the 10 worst players in the league at this point, baffles me. I guess he does have playoff experience, but you don't even have to guard him.
I don't think you're going to get any arguments itt with Snell v Kirk. Thibs has his guys though. It is what it is Dunleavy has been really good (when healthy), way above my expectations. Thinks he's a valuable piece next year.
They have not announced the numbers, they are expecting it to go up 10M next year but you still have to consider Butler is going from his rookie contract to a max contract that he has played himself into. The bulls already are over the cap. I think they are going to have to let Dunleavy go because of that Butler contract.
I think they can keep the rest of the team intact minus Brooks and Dunleavy. However, you have Snell, Mirotic and McBuckets that has not gotten any time this year that can play time at the 3. I would love to see Snell and Butler on the floor together for extended minutes. I am also not worried about the back up PG, every year we find a new one.
Tony Bennent is a name KC Johnson is throwing around too, but Virginia was preseason top 3 next year before the player declared.
I thought I'd be much more excited for the bulls playoffs than I am. Not feeling that good about them. However once they tip in sure I'll be a nervous wreck.
In a perfect world they would all get along and play well together and keep all of them. I think Gar/Pax have put together a good roster and have shown the ability to identify talent in the draft with players like Noah, Butler, Snell, Mirotic, Rose, Gibson, Deng and etc... Yes they have had some misses in there but they have hit pretty well in the draft and on a more consistant basis than most other teams. Thibs is a real good coach but sometimes good coaches like that rub people the wrong way and don't have a long shelf life in one place, like Darryl Sutter, Larry Brown or Jim Harbaugh.
