So according to O'Leary the coach was trying to keep him under the radar, so he can play for his friend, instead of looking out for the kid's best interest? Wow I think we somehow found a bigger asshole than GOL
Yea I dont get why student turnout would be down. Well more than half probably wouldnt even know about the postseason ban or what it means.
Unless he is a really smart kid who highly values academics, spending time in Orlando with your female population probably is in his best interests.
I think the upper north endzone went down to $99 as it wasn't before and they expanded the young alumni sections it looks like. Just off the top of my head it looks ok I think. The home schedule is also really good this year. We need to see what ucfaa has got though starting right now in terms of pushing football tickets. They didn't do shit last year, so now we have a new (I guess?) pricing structure and some big games to promote. They need to have a strategy for single game tickets, especially for non-Saturday games and possibly Thanksgiving. I hope the marketing department did some meaningful research over the past year.
i thought we had $99 season tix in the north endzone last year, and they just added the $49 tix for youths? I know my $$$ stayed the same.
can't figure that one out, maybe his injury part of the season hurt his chances. I hope a team like the Giants drafts him
How are they going to enforce the youth ticket thing? Will they be different tickets? Couldn't I just say, 1 adult, 7 youths...?
I would imagine it's just on honesty. If the scanners enforced it then you could just say you bought the tickets off someone.
WTF...this was a post from a thread in the Dungeon about the Shaquem Griffin story being on the front page of Yahoo! fucking cnewton157 Post #2723 MyFanPage Add Buddy Ignore Re: Shaquem Griffin - Front Page - Yahoo Reply It's funny. There have been people crying there has not been a "splash" in recruiting due to the number of stars, yet we have a recruit and now signee that has been making rounds on various sports programs and websites due to on the field play. 2/7 12:42 PM | IP: Logged

Either some sickos are on the loose or someone is doing some serious (and disturbing) projection.... Sorry UK, Southern Miss, Louisville, and Memphis fans but UCF fans don't have an obsession with wanting to see other men get effed in the ass...
MORBO! fuck yea name changes. However you may follow my path of changing to an obscure cartoon tv character and ending up as a Mortal Kombat character. I look forward to your future name of Bo Rai Cho.
There's my answer: Brandon ADMIN Post #53822 Winter Park, Florida MyFanPage Add Buddy Ignore Re: Ticket release: UCF Fans Belong in the Stands! ($99 tickets) Reply Originally posted by QbanKnight34: 4. How are they going to enforce the youth tickets thing? Are they going to look different or something? What if I were to buy 8 youth tickets and scalp them as "adult" tickets? I just hope they're pretty lax about that, for obvious reasons. You don't want to turn people off to the whole thing if they get screwed by the youth ticket thing somehow. I wondered the same thing, and e-mailed Andy Seeley from UCF Athletics about it. Here's what he said: For now, I can tell you that the youth tickets will be easily recognizable and identifiable as youth tickets, which should help our staff (and those who may be purchasing the ticket) identify them as "youth" tickets. As for how to verify age to make sure a "youth" uses the ticket -- rather than an adult -- there will be a procedure in place. But that's still in the planning stages, as of right now. We also plan to have messaging on the ticket, web site, collateral pieces, etc. that clearly states anyone 18 years of age or older will not be allowed admission with a youth ticket. The age range will be 2-17, which is consistent with our policies for other sports and we feel is a very family-friendly age range.
Too bad stubhub doesn't have a youth ticket option. If you buy it, you're stuck with it. Which is good for secondary market reasons but bad for "my kid is at camp today and I have no one to go with" situations.
If they do something where you pay $5 to "upgrade" the youth ticket, that would be pretty cool. That way you can avoid getting stuck with a useless youth ticket. Alternatively, you find somebody that has a kid using an "adult" ticket and just trade until you get into the stadium.
It's an idea hatched by marketing before someone considered logistics. Even that post said it...they are still working out how it actually works.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner. -- Originally posted by UCFProf: If the NCAA wished to impose competitve balance like the NFL and NBA, they could easily do it. The conferences already engage in massive profit sharing of TV and bowl revenues -- those could be extended across all 120 football and 350 basketball colleges that offer athletic scholarships. In addition, something on the order of a draft could be instituted to share the wealth of talent, while still allowing "lottery" pick athletes to select their favorite school to attend from among several in the bottom, say, third of college ranking the previous season. Clearly, the NCAA is not concerned about parity or even slightly leveling the playing field (no reference to Marshall). Thus, the practice of maintain "fair" recruiting tactics is a sham, hypocritical, and duplicitous. --
With the first pick in the 2013 NCAA draft Robert Nmkediche is now forced to spend the next 3-4 years at South Dakota State.
i think the idea of South Dakota State getting revenue sharing from the Big Ten Network is my favorite.
No it's got to be the fact that he thinks the NCAA should force 17-18 year old student athletes(that dont get paid) to go to whatever school that picks them.
or that the "lottery picks" (his term) get to choose but they can only choose from the bottom third of teams in the standings.

On PTI they were talking with Bilas about how bad college offense is now and during this they used video of USF trying to play offense which is quite hilarious. Can't believe we lost a game to them.
This is him: Thanks to this wonderful thread http://www.the-mainboard.com/index....night_light-phone-addy-and-photo.20082/page-3
I just really hate that mothefucker. That and I think the sarcasm detector on my computer has been fucked up recently. I may still do the photoshop tomorrow if I'm bored before a party I gotta go to since Xander posted ol' Cory's picture. That facial expression would be perfect on the kool-aid man though.
And it starts Brandon ADMIN Post #53835 Winter Park, Florida MyFanPage Add Buddy Ignore Re: ***Signing Day Show Recap (very detailed)*** Reply How many coaches have ever said they're going to be a bad football team? Again, we'll see what happens, but IMO UCF should be a top 3-4 team in the Big East in 2013. Look at the schedule. The Big East did UCF a favor by replacing Cincinnati with Memphis. Again, got to go out and win them, but UCF's road schedule is very winnable (SMU, Memphis, Temple) and then there's Louisville. Then Rutgers, UConn, Houston and USF at home. UCF should be in the mix to win the championship.
