    What a dumbass question though. How many fucking kids are wearing jerseys of guys that have been arrested for drugs, domestic abuse, murder, dog fighting, etc.?

    I'm leaning toward believing that Te'o is definitely gay and this was all a ploy to cover that up. Watch he comes out of the closet, becomes a hero in the gay community, and gets more pub than he did his senior year. America, man.

    I think you are spot on with those last two sentences.

    People will feel bad for him that he had to go through all that he did to cover up that he is gay, and he will get sympathy and even more attention. And no one in the locker room will give him too much shit based on how high profile the situation is.
