My gut feeling is that Te'o got trolled. He claimed to have met her to cover his tracks so that nobody would know he had a gf that he'd never seen in person.
then who was the person who he talked to on the phone? at the very least he tried to use the death someone who he thought was real for publicity purposes by lying about the extent of their relationship
Oh and coming from someone who actually did lose their grandmother, an aunt, and almost my mom in a span of < 24 hours in July; I hope he rots in hell.
I think they're trying to assert Teo knew and that the her name was just a cover for him being :aero:
Holy fucking shit. Te'o wasn't trolled, by the way - the conclusion is that he was clearly in on it. How could he not have been? He talked about her having visited, etc Manti Te'o is one sick fuck
I BELIEVE HIM YO Jimmyxx77 and 9 more "But there is no SSA record there of the death of Lennay Marie Kekua, that day or any other. Her passing, recounted so many times in the national media, produces no obituary or funeral announcement in Nexis, and no mention in the Stanford student newspaper." Erm, that's because she was registered under her real name, Lennay Marie Wochinski. Lennay Marie Kekua was her professional name.
Nathan Wurtzel @NathanWurtzel Te'o went a little further than guys' normal "you wouldn't know her...she lives in Canada" lie.
