The problem with blaming guns, video games, music, mom, dad, the mental health professionals at the school or anything else is that it detracts from recognizing the pure evil that was committed today. The debates will all be there next week, for a few days shouldn't we take the time to let it sink in that there are things we can't control and some of those things are horrific? That seems important to me.

I've seen multiple people post topics of a knife attack, in china, with has absolutely nothing to do with today's attack. Like somehow, that a knifing spree will dissuade others from discussing guns and gun control due to today's events. Just wanted to say how fucking stupid that is.
