That's what sucks about the whole situation with him. Any kids that were on the fence are going to bail because they don't know who they are even going to be playing for at this point.

Jeff Long is pretty fucking stupid to not have a secured coach yet either... cuz this upcoming recruiting season could really suffer if we don't find someone soon... (our recruiting is already wishywash, imagine the scrubs we could end up with)
It's going to be all in state guys that didn't get offers from any other schools. Looks like we'll be swooping up some UCA recruits. Our recruiting is shaky at best and this isn't helping matters at all. I mean, I hate to say it, but we are still Arkansas and that doesn't have a lot of allure to it for players.
There are going to be a lot of guys that stick because they committed to the program. I think of our 19 or so commits, we'll lose 5-6.
Voted this morning and was hoping to find a place on the ballot to impeach John L and vote for a new coach, but alas no such luck.

I could see it if he was coming from a school thats in the middle of the sticks, but I dont see his family liking the idea of moving to Fayetteville. I guess he can get something in the contract that gives his wife full use of a plane, maybe BM's buddy will fly her back and forth.

I am hearing a lot of names right now (no not Gruden). Most if not all actually sound a lot better than what I expected we would end up with (Strong). Gundy could be in play. Tubberville is begging for the job. We won't take him though. Its a lot of names. I think Patterson could still be a small possibility, and there are some other ones which are kind of under the radar.
yesterday I heard Patterson, Gundy, Mora, Carroll, Jimbo Fisher, pellini, gruden, stoops. Its getting fucking ridiculous.
