makes his yoga pants comment even funnier. not sure if i've ever heard someone complain about girls walking all around campus in tights that make their asses look nice.
Everyone I know who went into the service was a dipshit who had no other options. That doesn't mean they all are, or even most. But people jock the military like fucking crazy.
that's not what he's saying he's saying that labeling all of them as admirable heroes is a bit much a decent amount of them are basically assholes
People should have to work for a living. People that don't work, shouldn't get any money (or food, or a house, or healthcare) Sick of hearing there's no jobs out there. There's jobs, you just may not like them. Swallow your pride and get to work!
I agree, the reason why praise is heaped on them is because when bad shit happens they're the ones that show up to help. On one hand you get the best people, and on the other hand you get self important turds and incompetent people that everyone hates
I don't feel anything about 9/11. It is just another day. I have completely moved on from the events 11 years ago. Today doesn't make me feel anymore , it doesn't make me feel anything more about Islam, I don't feel anything about it. In fact, after 11 years I'm starting to kind of get annoyed with people's fake patriotism when 9/11 comes around.
If we really wanted to piss off the terrorists, this is how all americans would act. If we wanted them to REALLY feel like they didn't do shit, we should have rebuilt the towers exactly like they stood and acted like nothing happened. Not that I don't respect the dead, the heroes, etc. But I think it would have been pretty awesome for us to just rebuild and flip them the bird as if they took our lunch money. "World Trade Center? Nigga, we shit World Trade Centers."
i feel the same way. maybe its because i was 11 when it happened and dont know anyone affected by the towers or the wars but i just dont care about 9/11. its just another tuesday
Jay Z and Kanye are not good rappers. The Insane Clown Posse put on a good show. The "Greatest Generation" were worse than most other American generations.
That's kinda surprising. I figured anybody who was an ~adult at the time would be pretty affected by it. I'd say it's the most defining moment of our generation.
I was affected by it at the time, hell 6 months later I joined the Air Force. But I guess I just got over it.
It was our Pearl Harbor. I've been watching the History Channel all day and while it's depressing, I feel it's necessary for some reason.
Opinion #1: Rap music is a fucking disgrace and isn't really music at all-- takes little to zero talent Opinion #2 (more of a fact): Cobain was a terrible guitarist. Opinion #3: I think RHCP are/is overrated
Ah. I thought you were trolling because I'll say 95% of the people on this board don't know what true socialism is.
I really despise music critics/cynics or wannabe music critics. People make music for themselves and others to enjoy, not to be judged. If you don't like what you're listening to, shut the fuck up and listen to something else. I also get annoyed when people get called "homers" or "apologists" for being biased towards their team. Who cares? Isn't that what sports is all about, taking pride in your team? Sports are for fun, and when you start being critical towards your team or become an asshole then you're just a shitty fan in my eyes. Basically I hate people who have retarded prerequisites for having fun and can't enjoy themselves. I guess that isn't exactly an unpopular viewpoint, but I know too many people like that.
