HERE IT IS BOYS AND GIRLS ! First you need a 1-thru 4 prime rib roast about 7 to 8 lbs .small end up to 4 ribs . 3 LARGE GARLIC CLOVES 1 1/2 TABLESPOONS SALT 1/2 TEASPOON HUNGARIAN SWEET PAPRIKA 1/2 TEASPOON TURMERIC 1/2 TEASPOON THYME 1/2 TEASPOON PEPPER 2 TABLE SPOONS OLIVE OIL FOR RUBBING ROAST FOR OVER NIGHT SIT . In a chopping machine drop garlic tube till minced. transfer contents into work bowl and mix in rest of rub mixture. Wipe beef dry with paper towels. then rub oil all over each side of roast , the rub salt mixture all over each side of roast. transfer to shallow pan, cover loosely with foil and refridgerate overnight . IMPORTANT ! NEXT DAY BEFORE COOKING ! LET roast stand at room temperature for 1 hour before cooking . POSITION RACH AT LOWER 1/3 OF OVEN AND PREHEAT TO 450 DEGREE'S . Roast the beef 30 minutes to sear . THEN ! Reduce oven temp to 325 F. Roast untill thermometer reads 120 F for medium rare about a total of 1 hour and 15 mins . ENJOY TMB ! AND HAPPY HOIDAYS ! .
