when pittman was in for the blood bin we held our end on their put in. when (sp) makeiola came back in it regressed. but the announcers are putting more of the "blame" on Mike Mac. 10-10
could have been worse. but not leading at half will severely cut down the chance of an upset. our second half ability isn't the best. hopefully it changes.
that's a big thing. either better domestic competition or more professionals over seas. i'm cheering hard for Ireland. fuck italy.
If we get one more try it will be a mission accomplished. That pick by the ref that led to their 2nd try killed all our momentum, and then that foul play was a bullshit penalty.
Damn it so close. Can't wait to watch Ireland take Italy to the woodshed. The Eagles showed serious heart this entire WC, and they have nothing to be ashamed of. Proud of our boys.
At this time, more guys overseas. Scully's penalty hurt, still were behind but loss of the ball and they score 7.
Canada have been the story of the World Cup for me. You should aim to set up some form of club competition between Canada and the US. Argentina getting into the Tri Nations opens up a chance of a pro Competition there, get some players involved in that.
we've tried to get competition between us and Canada. the North American 4 (NA4) didn't last very long. i'm not sure what is in the works now, but it would be cool if our top level domestic clubs could consistently play theirs
Fucking hell what a day, Tonga beat France and now the best player in the tournament Carter is out injured for the rest of the tournament! The whole of New Zealand are going right now
i'm now pulling for Wales. it was either them or Ireland. If it's not Wales, then either France or Argentina.
Last Night was insane. Aussies and Springboks here tonight at 6. They've shut down the entire CBD and made a huge fan zone on the most popular street. Going to be some seriously good rugby tonight and seriously hard raging afterwards.
that would be awesome to be there. i hope the game lives up to the hype, because it sounds like it is getting a fuckton.
I've loved the little bit of rugby that I've watched. Does it get broadcast much in the U.S.? Are there any recap shows that play on a major network? Trying to learn more about the sport.
if you have universal sports (channel 245 for me) they have recap shows and they replay some of the U.S. matches as well. rugbydump.com and universalsports.com are good sites to watch highlights and read articles as well.
