https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/12/rangers-to-sign-nathan-eovaldi.html "Those injuries seemed to depress Eovaldi’s market." - an article from the day he was signed in 2022. such is the unfortunate reality of baseball. plenty of massacred teams already entering May. https://www.espn.com/mlb/injuries
you just linked 40 man roster injuries pretty sure the rangers literally have 12 from their mlb team on the IL. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen but having more than an entire rotation on the IL is brutal luck. Thanks
Shut up dump they’re in first still. I was just commenting on the shit luck not that it’s the end of the world
the video of Skenes getting the news is likely going to be so awkward. Most people knew Pittsburgh was targeting this weekend.
I listened to cespedes BBQ earlier in the week and they both guessed he would get called up this week without sourcing. Solely based on them moving him to normal MLB rest between appearances. plus:
The Yankees have to be frothing at the mouth for Kyle Tucker to reach free agency as he just pummels balls in their little league right field
he was really fuckin good here in college but his success in the bigs is kind of surprising ......has been awesome to watch
I'm back on my MLB stadium tour of day trips that I've posted about in prior years. I got out of bed at 4 am and now I'm sitting back at PHL waiting to go home.
Tickets were absurd for a Wednesday day game. I'm used to $6-8 tickets but I paid a shocking $34 for section 422.
On a side note, I'm really tired of parks not allowing bags in the stadium. My lifehack is that I bring a hoody with zipper pockets and put my stuff in there. Then I just look like a lunatic carrying around a hoody in 88° weather but no one has ever questioned me on it.
