they have a god-awful OL, correct? if Levis is a bottom to mid-tier QB + bad o-line, not sure those weapons are enough to make them more than a 6 to 7 win team. I agree with you if you think they are too good to be a 3 or 4 win team.
Also their running game is a huge question mark with that bad OL relying on a young Tyjae Spears and a mid Tony Pollard plus who knows if the D will still be decent without Vrabel
I believe they upgraded at center and then of course drafted Latham, so maybe better? We’ll see. Agree about the Vrabel point, I kind of forgot they fired him. I hated playing Vrabel, definitely welcome the change from a division rival perspective
If there's surveillance footage of him hitting a photographer then you may be right, on the list for the entire year or something along those lines. What a fucking moron. He was in a position to be lethal underneath and on crossing routes with Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy stretching the field and teams having to account for Kelce as well.
The Pats just went through the entire offeseason of hiring a new coach and drafting a QB with the third pick, and now are hiring a GM/Football Ops guy to run the show?
And, literally everyone knows that Eliot Wolf is getting the gig and it doesn’t even come with “final say” because the Krafts are obsessed with being viewed as the reason the Pats succeed
Eliot Wolf is going to get the promotion from director of scouting but they have to interview people to satisfy NFL rules
Vrabels downfall were his OC hires. He insisted on hiring and keeping his buddies that had no business being OCs.
while that might be true, y’alls drafting is probably the worst in the league year in and year out havent had a good 1st rd pick since Henry/Simmons Skoronski might be good but picking an OG at 1.11 is terrible value
Well it’s a good thing Robinson is gone. For all the talk about how bad the Titans may have screwed up letting Vrabel go, he didn’t land an open spot as a coach anywhere. Maybe they made the right decision, we will see.
Definitely upgraded at center and there is no way we can be worse at tackle than we were with Dillard playing. Also have a pretty damn good oline coach now so hopefully there’s some pretty good improvement on the line. If not then it will be a long year.
While that maybe true, he could have just wanted a year or so off to spend with his family or he didnt see a job open that interested him. IIRC he got like $40 million in his buyout from the Titans so he’s not hurting for money.
Relevant to Zay and Ridley/Titans discussion (much more Ridley). I’ll always love Zay though for 2023, he had some incredible plays.
