I want a pie chart breakdown of what percentage of my waking life was spent on the various emotions, including happy, sad, angry, hopeful, etc.
My favorite thing to do is fill out my health history online. Whenever a doctor says they're going to refer me to someone I get giddy because I know I get to fill out another form with the exact same info. Even when a doctor referred me to his brother, whose practice is in the same building, I got to do it again and I love it so much. I can't wait until I see that same doctor and get to fill out the same form again, it is SO MUCH FUN
It's 10x more frustrating to me when you do this and your provider basically doesn't look at it and wants you to explain everything in person over again.
I found out today I get to have surgery tomorrow so it was really nice to get back to back calls from the doctors office and the hospital both requesting this information as well as large sums of money to be paid immediately.
Thanks friend, it’s just putting some screws in my elbow that I fractured weeks ago that they realized today wasn’t healing properly.
#Texas Longhorns I’ll be in Johnson City for a wedding this weekend with pretty much free reign all day Friday and Saturday while my wife does wedding party stuff. Any recs?
Drive west towards Fredericksburg and that puts you right in the middle of the Texas wine scene. Winery about every half mile. Just east of Johnson City is Pedernales Falls State Park. It is beautiful in the rugged Texas Hill Country kind of way.
Not a horn but I live about 15 minutes from JC What are you looking for? Ronnie's BBQ is good if your looking for bbq El Agave is good if your looking for Mexican food (recommend the birria tacos) Hill country cupboard is good old fashioned home style cooking, especially good for breakfast Lots of good historical stuff around, all based on LBJ His childhood home is in town, the national park is his actual ranch that is pretty cool The state park is right next to the NP and is has live blacksmithing and farm animals, etc that is great for kids If you have kids in tow, the science mill is good Pecan street brewery on the square is worth some time if you're wanting some brews Lots of wineries around if you like wine Get you some Wittingtons Beef Jerky too What else might you be looking for?
If you like animals they have a great drive through park where you can feed the animals. I couldn't stop laughing. It was fun.
Mentioning fat boy burgers first makes that list completely irrelevant That place is not good, and I'm honestly surprised they are still in business It did mention Bryan's on 290 though and I forgot to mention that place It's good If you really want a good burger in the area, a short trip to Alamo Springs Cafe is worth it. Probably the best burgers I've had in a long time.
yea I’m not co-signing, just googled to see if they had a list and they randomly had a really recent one.
Some of the funniest people and most obnoxious boomers I've seen were on wine tours in Fredericksburg. Just getting absolutely drunk on tastings with those bus tours that take you to the various vineyards. Some boomer got upset when the vineyard my wife and I were at didn't give you a complimentary glass. He tried to steal one and one of the employees ran him down. We were at another one and saw some girls acting like frat guys yelling DRINK IT with their little tasting amount.
I just spent $41 on a custom card for my niece's high school graduation. Wanted to add my own song to it. Easily the best investment I've ever made.
I would like to know how many girls could I have hooked up with - that would be my question to God..how many fumbles did I have?
That’s one I’d strongly consider, however…not sure what would devastate me more, if the number of “could haves” was a crazy big number or if the number was one higher than my actual body count
Like Janet in the Good Place? BTW, I’ll answer that one for you. We all could have hooked up with hundreds or thousands more women than we did.
Relocating to the Midwest and having social media has only solidified my negative opinion of the Kentucky Derby and all the ridiculousness that goes along with it.
Favorite thing about the Kentucky Derby is the hours of prerace stuff for a race that lasts maybe 2 minutes.
Why at the doctors office do they read you your blood pressure numbers as if you have any fucking clue what they mean. They’ll deadpan say something like 110 over 70 and then just go back to typing into the computer.
How do you not know what blood pressure numbers mean? https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases...pressure/in-depth/blood-pressure/art-20050982
110/70 is totally normal your top # (systolic) should be between 90-120 your bottom # (diastolic) should be between 60-80 hope that helps
They should make a new blood pressure metric. Call it BP+. Over 100 youre good, under youre in trouble.
It helps I just don’t get why they can’t provide one more line of context. Like today I must’ve stood up quickly (I was light headed walking back to exam room) so I had low blood pressure. The nurse goes 90 over 60 or some shit and stares at me looking for a response. Sorry I need to phone a friend because idk what your gaze is implying.
