This is sadly true. Apparently it's something the staff has been on his ass about this spring though.
now that has been corrected would you like to place another wager? venmo/cashapp is cool you don't have to personally deliver
Nah, the potential payout vs the board is obviously enticing, but having to pay thousands of dollars to you troglodytes if I lose is less than ideal.
I'm pretty confident in it, but there's no qualifiers on the bet, like Shedeur getting hurt making the bet null.
I don't know where this idea comes from that the line is going to suck. They brought in a bunch of vets who started and performed well at their previous stops.
Define a scrub. The grades for Tyler Johnson, Justin Mayers, Khalil Benson, Ethan Boyd, etc don't suggest they're scrubs.
as someone who roots for a team that brought in guys who started elsewhere, doesn’t mean they are worth a fuck together
The OL transfers are from UTEP, Houston, and Indiana. Phil Loadholt (OL coach) has never been a position coach. Pat Shurmur is the OC. I don't understand why you guys think it's not going to work?
Just added a tackle from MSU as well... So 3 of the 4 played against P5 competition and were pretty good if you believe PFF grades. Mayers, from UTEP, his numbers speak for themselves. It's a better line than last year, which was made up of former low 3 star High school players, an undersized guard from Kent State, three lightly recruited JUCOs and a 6'2" FCS transfer who inexplicably played tackle prior to coming to Colorado. Is it really hard to see why there's optimism for improvement?
Right now it's probably QB: Shedeur Sanders RB: Dallan Hayden WR: Will Sheppard WR: Travis Hunter WR:LaJohntay Wester WR: Jimmy Horn LT: Jordan Seaton LG: Justin Mayers C: Tyler Brown RG: Tyler Johnson RT: Khalil Benson DL: BJ Green DL: Shane cokes/Rayyan Buell NT: Chidozie Nwanko DT: Amari McNeil? Edge: Sam Okunlola Edge: ? LB: Nikhai Green Hill LB: laVonta Bentley? CB: Travis Hunter CB: Preston Hodge CB: DJ McKinney FS: Cam Silmon Craig SS: Shiloh Sanders Honestly not sure on a lot of the defense front 7. Not sure who is even considered edge rushers vs defensive lineman, or what the base defense is. Didn't pay enough attention in the spring to know who stood out. Lots of other guys who could end up being WR4. My optimism with the O line comes from the fact that Mayers, Johnson and Benson allowed a total of 3 sacks between them last year and regularly graded out in the 80s. Not elite, elite, but better than what we had.
So you’re saying a turnstile of guys who probably didn’t play at their old school probably isn’t a great way to build a program long term? Man, feels like we were trying to show someone that.
dont you have more important things to do with your time than do childish things like “know my favorite team’s starting lineup”? grow up
We will know for sure in about 2,000 years if we get a message from Hale-Bopp when it passes through.
Colorado faces 8 teams with a win total of 7.5 or higher in 2024. and 5 of the 8 are on the road... only Florida faces more (9). If Colorado makes a bowl I'll be impressed
Betting $500 and a trip to WV that your team overperforms Vegas expectations by 4 wins, but doesn’t know what your base defense is???
-115 on DraftKings. I wasn’t trying to get into the half wins for the post, was simply saying he effectively doubled how much better they had to outperform expectations, which wasn’t correct. They need to outperform expectations by 2.5 wins. Really the way to look at it is he took an even money bet for something that should be like +800 (just using @CB’s model to price it for actual probability of happening…books wouldn’t price it that way)
