The Bears fail story with Patrick is nauseating. Morning of the draft it was known Browns would take Trubisky #1. Chi calls Mahomes and Sr and tell them Pat will be a Bear (worked out a deal to trade to like 8 where they’d take them). Day of the draft Cle coaches and player personnel started to fight over the pick, owner decided to go with Garret because he was a sure thing. Ryan Pace creamed himself that he could get the “consensus #1 QB”. He blew a 2nd to move up 1 spot to draft a bust instead of gaining multiple 2nds to move down and draft the HoFer.
