Sunami actually is a satire beatdown hardcore band, outside of songs about cops. Their cousin project Big Boy is similar too. The 6’9” drummer of Sunami absolutely shreds too. Incendiary doesn’t tour actually, same goes for Mindforce. They all had careers when they blew up and decided to just play random weekends. The singer is an Ivy League grad and works for NBC lol

What a power house of an album. They are so good at what they do. For me Piece by Piece is the star of the album
holy shit 20 years. I graduated HS in 02 so that album had a huge impact to 20 year old me. Mid 00s metal will always spark some memories, was a good time.
It’s absolutely wild kublai khan has over 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and knocked loose has over 2.1! It wasn’t that long about both bands were doing about a third of those numbers

Just saw Boundaries tonight at Chain Reaction. They’re so 2000s Trustkill/Ferret/Parkway/ABR era sounding metalcore with crushing breakdowns.
Do not miss Pain of Truth. Just straight up NYHC and so good at it. And oh fuck, Lionheart is jumping on that tour starting Monday too.

Also I don’t know if he does this every show but if you hang around for a minute Matt might come out and just mingle with the crowd. I met him in Chicago and he was incredibly nice.
