They don't give a fuck it's just red meat for the base. Look at it like Pizzagate, the guy who drove from North Carolina to DC and shot up the pizza place because he wanted to free the child sex slaves (the authorities weren't doing it) acted pretty rationally as a true believer. The people selling the conspiracy weren't lifting a finger to save the supposed sexually abused children. There are some true believers like Marge but as a whole the people at the top know it's all bullshit.
A guy I went to college with posted clips of Tucker on Rogan and apparently right wing media is done with tuck because he said we shouldn’t have dropped the bomb to end dub dub 2
spent a non-zero amount of time trying to figure out any amount of context that could clue me in to what "sub dub 2" was before remembering what a keyboard looks like.
I’d like to thank the Academy but most of all I’d like to thank user electronic for helping me over the finish line
I’m confused, Robby. Did he accidentally leave the bullets there, or did he know the bullets were in there but just “didn’t know it was illegal?” Regardless, who the fuck gets on an airplane ever with bullets in their luggage?
This exact thing happened to a former coworker and his wife. He brought his backpack that he took hunting and camping and when they were leaving they found 1 bullet in his bag. He thought he had gotten them all out but missed it. They detained them at the airport for hours. This was years ago so long before the fines and jail time but he said it was really scary.
Wow I wonder if they’ll ask for more than $1k this time. Who could’ve predicted exactly how this would play out
30 years ago when I used to shoot regularly I once had a .45 slug from my SiGP220 ricochet back and land at my feet. I kept it for years in my pocket as some sort of lucky charm, and once at the DC National airport when I emptied my pockets at the metal detector the attendant saw the slug and said "You can't take that on the plane." My response was "What am I going to do, throw it at somebody?" He let me through
I know it's probably not part of the fining process but it would be pretty awesome if they could fund something he hates with his money.
This guy white? If so, he maybe should realize how lucky he is that it was just a little scary for a while
Yes him and his wife are white. He said they were lucky to have an airport employee help to translate to the officials.
This is how I know our country has a gun problem. I’m sure your dad is a responsible gun owner but the idea that someone can just say “I forgot I had a gun there” blows my mind. I have no sympathy for this idiot in the Turks. Play with stupid toys, earn stupid prizes.
"Tell god I said hi" is such a good fucking response to losers who say shit like that to people Like bro I don't give a fuck about ur religion piss off
Absolutely hysterical how he belittled Sean Spicer over his religion. Not letting him go on the Vatican trip knowing he was a devout Catholic, and making him dress as the Easter bunny on Easter lmao
wife had today show on in the other room and this guy was on, apparently this has happened to EIGHT us tourists so far lol. I think the only one who had been formally sentenced so far got 8 months.
Agreed. I thought it would be much worse, but you’re right. Just forgetting you have a murder device on you is a bad look.
I'll never understand the sympathy for people who fuck up and bring guns somewhere they shouldn't. Sorry, you really fucked up. Those things are really dangerous as it turns out.
A key exchange just occurred, during which Pecker acknowledged that the purpose of buying McDougal’s story — with the intent of never printing it — was to make sure Trump remained unscathed by it through the 2016 election. “Was your principal purpose to suppress her story so as not to influence the election?” Steinglass asked. ”Yes, it was,” Pecker replied. “Were you aware that expenditures by corporations made for the purpose of influencing an election,” are unlawful? Steinglass asked. “Yes,” Pecker replied. Asked by Steinglass why AMI bought McDougal’s story, Pecker responded that, “We purchased the story so it wouldn’t be published by any other organization.” “We didn’t want the story to embarrass Mr. Trump or embarrass or hurt the campaign,” Pecker said.
I'm fascinated that Trump hasn't even once mentioned Pecker and dropped his "I didn't even know who he is" line with bonus points for making fun of his name. It's certainly not the gag order keeping him from talking shit about him to the media.
