I bet you could feel the electricity in the room https://www.chron.com/politics/article/ted-cruz-houston-headquarters-19406546.php
Not that he's excluded from your qualifiers, but the top republican goon in the state is the one leading the call for expulsion
Happy the longhorn students protested. People need to see this bullshit. Glad the youth are doing their part I thank them.
Reminder that university of Texas leadership along with every other uni in the state is now completely controlled by Abbott appointees.
45 checks out, I thought 35 between Austin/San Antonio was a knife fight but then I rode that stretch with my Houstonian ex driving and yeah, they’re built different down there
45 is just stupid. I take the Hardy toll road instead to work because 610 and 45 are some Mad Max shit.
Love my attorney general Seated near Eric Trump in the courtroom are a couple of Donald Trump’s allies, including adviser Susan Wiles and a supporter, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who had his own highly publicized legal problems. He reached a deal last month to have felony securities fraud charges dismissed and is still in office after surviving an impeachment trial last year.
I do hope everyone knows about powertochoose.org for your electricity rates. Make sure you’re on a fixed rate and it’s super easy to switch every 6 to 24 months to take full advantage of the best possible rates.
Nah you’ll just have to enjoy the anxiety free living of not worrying about being powerless when the temps drop below 30 or above 95.
Im squarely in the camp that aint letting ur dumbass drive all the way up to the end of the merge and try to sneak ur punk ass in. If ur gonna weasel ur way in, it will absolutely be behind me. GTFO
Energy Ogre. Chooses rates based on your power usage and situation and then sticks you on a new plan once the promotional rate is up. Never pay over $150 for a 3 bedroom house
while I’m happy shitty East Texas is for some reason not on the same grid as rest of you, we only have one option and my summer energy bills are stupid high
It’s not a zipper merge if you have a mile of telling you the lane ends or if it’s not a merge lane at all
Austin area car dealership execs sure do love the crime life. Six months ago one was convicted of contracting a double homicide. Now...
I'm amused that he thought no one would raise questions about one guy buying up a bunch of arson properties.
Contemplating a move from Denver to Austin. Goal is to save a bit of money every month and with the differences in rent/income tax/CoL - I need some advice.
Not sure if you've already crunched the numbers, but I think someone posted recently (denver thread maybe) that they did the same thing and found the cost difference to be much less than expected. I wouldn't want anyone to be sucked into this shitshow under false pretenses
I’d say look more toward San Antonio if you are really interested in moving to that area But I havent really crunched any numbers on that
My first thought would be how to make a little more money then move to Texas to save a few bucks. We are heading backwards here, if you enjoy the Denver lifestyle I don’t think it’s worth moving to Texas for the amount of savings you might get. Plus Texas summers
