Hahahahaha Nate said, thanks for the final four you guys but yall refusing to play defense ain’t going to cut it
More importantly he’s a lanky goofy looking bastard, no place for that on our elite roster of Adonises.
I don’t like losing Walters. He had a lot of potential. He was a young freshman. And he fit the system. Hate that it didn’t work. He will go to a smaller school and set it on fire imo. He wouldn’t have started again next year so I’d imagine he finds a place that’ll give him a lot of playing time
Possible. But if we start expecting every freshman has to start by year two, especially on the portal era. We are gonna be replacing a lot of spots every year. Which is probably what we will be doing anyway.
this is kinda where I’m at. If he’s not gonna get drafted after the year he had this year he probably won’t be drafted next year either. Especially since they’re saying this draft class is one of the worst in years. I’d imagine he leaves. Or at worst goes over seas.
Yeah, the staff has said, we want him to go pro. That means we had a great year. Same coach said, good luck as a little fish in an ocean full of giant sharks.
Absolutely wish Sears the best. I truly believe if there’s a small guard in the country that could make it work in the NBA. He could. Don’t know that he gets the chance but I hope he kills it wherever he lands. Dude is an absolute dog.
I would certainly draft Mark Sears in the mid to late first. Maybe that would cost GM Leonard his job but this is about the weakest draft I can remember, but Sears consistently performs at a high level against very good competition. I don't know if he'll be a starter (that depends a great deal on what team drafts him) but he's a guy that can help your team for a long time imo... and honestly it just comes down to the fact that the alternatives in this particular draft aren't very good at all. There are mocks putitng Reed Shephard in the top 3... good Lord! As a bammer I'd love him to stay, but it is the correct decision to go pro imo. He is not improving on his season or his numbers from this year, both were spectacular.
the problem with sears is he's a thicc boi and has trouble getting by faster defenders and thats most of the nba.
while I agree, he still has an elite skill- he can fill it up from anywhere. And in a normal year draft I might think it would be better for a guy like him to stay. But seriously look at some of these names... you really gonna take some of these scrubs over Sears? You're correct he has his limitations for sure, but it's all about "what are my alternatives"? He also had a damn good game against Castle and some other great defenders, he has shown he can do it against some real dudes. https://nbadraft.theringer.com/mock-draft Also Jalen Brunson having the season he's having right now is going to do wonders for less athletic smaller guards like him. I don't think he's that good but he's at least showing scouts that there's a chance guys like this can have success.
eh, he didn't really have much trouble with anything. ridiculous efficiency. he showed up against everyone he played.
well I suppose we shall see but I think Reed is gonna disappoint somebody big time if he's taken that high and Murray-Boyles over Sears in that mock? Damn
