FWIW, both ESPN and The Athletic have Miami in the 17-18 range in a look ahead to next year's top 25. They took Norchad and George leaving into account (both rankings were released before Norchad's announcement today), but both have Wooga and Cleveland returning.

Staff was recruiting portal guys like Norchad was gone. Don't see how this was a surprise.

 

I guess the news of him entering the draft without an agent coming first surprised me a bit and threw a little bit of hope that he might come back.
