had complete cloud cover in west san antonio and didn't see shit. it's cool that it got very dark and much cooler temperature-wise but wasn't worth driving from 99.9% coverage to 100%, unfortuanately. had no issues with traffic, at least. congrats to those who saw it.
Should have stayed on the couch, I guess. The boys and I got a few glimpse of it whenit was about 60-70% but then this big bastard moved in
I will. Pictures cannot even come close to how this looked and felt. Just incredible. It got dark real fast. The street lights came on and the crickets started chirping. There was a sliver of sun left and then boom the corona came out in all its glory.
I guess because of how far north it is near the pole? That seems insane, 4 minutes is a crazy long time if you can get it.
Kinda cloudy in Alabama but still pretty cool to see what you could at 88% coverage. The best part of this is how cool my office is which normally bakes in the sun this time of day. Can’t wait until the next one here in 2044
my friend's dad has a serious astrophotography hobby and traveled to arkansas to take some photos of the totality
