They better bring the banana pudding milkshake back to my area or my lawyers will be meeting with their brass
Chick-fil-A has announced it is changing the chicken it serves at all of its restaurants this spring. The plan is to switch up the requirements for the kind of chicken purchased from the current No Antibiotics Ever (NAE) to No Antibiotics Important To Human Medicine (NAIHM). “NAE means no antibiotics of any kind were used in raising the animal. NAIHM restricts the use of those antibiotics that are important to human medicine and commonly used to treat people, and allows use of animal antibiotics only if the animal and those around it were to become sick,” the restaurant said in a statement. The company made clear that it continues to be dedicated to serving customers the highest quality food. An exact date for the change has not been announced. In a statement to Reuters, Chick-fil-A explained it is making the move “due to challenges it foresees finding chicken supplies that ‘meets our rigid standards.'” This comes roughly a decade after Chick-fil-A committed to serving antibiotic-free chicken. Why do Popeyes drive-thrus have an unusable balcony over them? You can find out more about the restaurant’s approach here. Chick-fil-A also introduced a new menu item it’s testing: pizza. In mid-March, the Atlanta-based company rolled out six new pizza options at its test kitchen, Little Blue Menu, in College Park, Maryland.
It’s not even changing. Just can’t use the term NAE anymore because they now are still using chickens that get sick and are treated with non-human use antibiotics.
This isnt a change? The company explained the move (sort of) on its website in the FAQ section. "To maintain a supply of the high-quality chicken you expect from us, Restaurants in the U.S. and Puerto Rico will shift from chicken raised with No Antibiotics Ever (NAE) to chicken raised with No Antibiotics Important to Human Medicine (NAIHM) starting in the spring of 2024. Canadian Restaurants will transition from chicken raised without antibiotics to chicken raised with No Antibiotics Important to Human Medicine starting in the spring of 2024," the company shared on its website.
Some pretty bad PR folks at Chickfila if it indeed didn't change. Color me skeptical hearing it from the company man.
This is what you get for trying to be responsible provider of food I guess. Almost every other company already has this exact same policy that we changed to, Chick-fil-As was just more stringent but has become untenable for producers/production.
It didnt change Everyone else serves penicilin It changed to what everyone else is doing idk what to believe
I had a sandwich monday and it was the most trash cfa sandwich ive ever had. It was a location inside a hospital so i figured that was why it was so terrible.
Sorry there are three categories: NAE: CFA was one of a few No Antibiotics with human implications: A few major players were already here: McDonalds, Popeyes etc. No Policy: a lot of restaurants are in this category, including most of what’s in your grocery store! What do you do for a living so I can come tell you you’re wrong about things I have no idea about?
Went the other day and ordered some nuggets. They told me there was a 10-15 wait because they were out. In my 42 years, I’ve never experienced that at CFA.
CFA in absolute shambles. Hope someone can take over the space to replace them. Preferably without wanting to eradicate LGBTQ folks
Sad day. Saw this with Chipotle too. Get too big and the food goes to shit. Fortunately we have a good local fast casual Tex Mex to replace them with. Will need another chicken joint to step up and take CFA’s place locally
Currito. It’s mostly a local chain with a few other random locations. I’d imagine a lot of places have a local replacement nowadays
After extensive testing yesterday for lunch and this morning for breakfast, there is no discernable difference in chicken quality and any claim to the contrary is being heavily influenced by the liberal media's attack on Christianity.
I have a free meal, wrap, and sandwich waiting for me. At least I won’t have to pay for this low quality fast food.
