i went from real resin carts to Delta 8 ones a few years ago. I haven't smoked actual weed since maybe 2017, and imagine it would crumble me if i did.
I get 70-85% THC carts here in Florida dependent on strain and it does the job but the Alien Lab brand I got in Cali was top notch shit
Delta 9 is the same compound in marijuana that you’re usually looking for, d8 sucks- that said I find drinking 5mg beverage or two puts me in a good spot if I’m being social as a beer replacement - but I’m by no means an expert and certainly if I was trying to get very high that wouldn’t be the avenue
Feeling is that they will raise the % of dry weight allowable. But obviously the house is a mess no guaranteeing anything. Have meetings coming up with Fetterman’s office and Booker, might be more illuminating on where their heads are at
Saw Vriginas Governor vetoed recreational (also vetoed raising minimal wage from $12 to $15 (fucking scumbag)). He said legalized marijuana increases gang activity and violent crime…is there a shred of data to back this up?
I’d assume there is loads of evidence that says bringing drug dealers out of the shadows takes gangs and violent crime out of the equation more than adding it in
It’s not that simple. The legal market is taxed highly and you need a ton of security measures and extremely expensive licenses to open a dispensary. There’s still a fairly prolific black market as I understand it. That may change in the long haul but for now that’s the case.
Banks being able to get on board would go a long way to resolving the shit you see in Oakland where the cash-only dispensaries have to employ tons of armed security 24/7 Thankfully we have dedicated public servants like Chuck Schumer working tirelessly to make this happen
it is possible. Here in Oklahoma there have been a bunch of Chinese people buying land and growing weed, some legal and some not. From what I understand they are growing it and sending it back overseas. I want to say the governor wants to (or did) ban the sale of land to foreign nationals or something. I know a few people that have been approached by foreigners to sell their rural property/acreage for way more money than anyone else would ever pay for it. So far, they’ve all declined to sell.
I want to say I saw something like 75% of Republican voters are in favor of legalization. It's not the will of the people, it's the pharma lobby and religious bullshit holding up any progress.
What about this is illegal or violent? I’m not trying to be obtuse, just curious. The Virginia governors comments about gangs and violence don’t seem to overlap with what you’re describing.
oh I don’t agree with what the Virginia governor has said. all I was trying to convey was that you said there is no way there is more black market activity with it being legalized and here in Oklahoma, they have had more busts of illegal grows than before we had it legal (medical). But nobody was really growing here on a large scale illegally before. I don’t think it has caused significantly more issues than before, but I don’t know that as a fact. You’re going to have some bad actors no matter what you do. we don’t have full recreational here yet. Went to vote last year and didn’t pass but it was fairly close. Our “medical” is a joke. You can do a phone call with a doctor for $100 bucks that last less than 3 minutes and boom you’re approved! lol. Total racket and these doctors and making money hand over fist for first time approvals and two year renewal approvals.
Cunts are coming for the blessed loophole https://thehill.com/homenews/4564181-2018-farm-bill-hemp-cannabis-attorneys-general/amp/
Somehow we will fuck this up. The bill will probably be written in a way that is confusing to 20% of voters. It fall 1% short of the required vote.
It almost sounds like it was written too plain and broad for those opposed. The proposal, known as Amendment 3, would legalize the "non-medical personal use of marijuana products and marijuana accessories by an adult" 21 or older. Desantis said the amendment was written with "the broadest language I've ever seen"
How is this possible when VA has already passed bills to legalize it? I was under the impression their next step was to pass regulations for recreational sales, but that was before Youngkin and all these lunatics entered during covid
Any clue what the timeline looks like now? The public comment and rule making is something I thought took several months.
Saw something a while ago and can't find it, but there's that and probably some litigation that will delay things. Hopefully there's at least something before the election
Feels like the big issue is that diaper baby could just kill it all if he stumbles his way into a victory and it's not locked in
