Haven't had many cork fresh crack crumbles, except old bottles, just had one on a SW 2021 bottle date
I've never re-watched Breaking Bad. Was as best I can describe as a perfect show and I'm not sure a re-watch would add anything. I'll fuck with The Wire and Sopranos re-watches though. They deliver. 10/10 would recommend. edit - also, if you paste directly into the box created when you click "image" the GIF will be hosted on TMB and will appear when you're quoted.
Mine's out for delivery, but you may still get yours first. I couldn't ship to NC, so I shipped it to my Dad just over the border in SC. He's in Florida with my Mom right now. Gets back Monday night the 1st. So they'll try to delivery three times, today, Sat and Monday and he'll miss them. Then they will hold it for 7 calendar days, with takes it through Monday, April 8th. It gets better. I stupidly left my name on the shipping address, just changing the address to his. UPS said it's too late to change the name. They would need to see both of us with our IDs to pick it up. It gets even better. I leave in the morning for spring break in Turks and Caicos. I get back on Thursday night. My dad leaves Thursday morning to go to DC to see my brother, lol. His flight back is supposed to land Monday the 8th at 2:30pm. So I basically have to get him from the airport and go to the UPS facility before 5pm so that we can both show our IDs and get this bottle. Holy hell. And I did know about the Florida trip, but not the DC trip.
Mine is shipping with a previous order so I'm sure that's the hold up. Waiting on Rare Character Exceptional Series 15 Year Ky Straight Malt 124.4 Proof - Rare Bird 101 x 1
People rave about those Exceptional Series. Guess this is another website I need to start following more closely.
I got a few deliveries today. Would have been one more from Keef with a 13th Colony 15th Anniversary and an ASW Golden Fiddle, but UPS has decided to not unpack the truck at their local depot for 2 days. Can't wait to open the 2nd to the right 15 yr 9 mo 124.4 proof malt RCES from Rarebird101.
well it is dusty for sure, but no. It's basically 11.5 yr MGP rye from r/bourbon. I have the Seelbach's version of it and I like it a lot. RockHardJawn39 grabbed this for me.
Yes, I'm pretty sure it was. Label is awesome, back and front with lots of info. Here is the Seelbach's version which I like quite a bit. It's 1 year younger but around the same proof. https://seelbachs.com/products/hugh...a-aged-10-year-single-barrel-rye-whiskey-3796
Weird. Yeah I check the emails every week to see what r/bourbon is putting out. Must have missed that one.
Anyone else try this yet? I am definitely enjoying it. The nose is beautiful...vanilla, caramel, cherry, oak. The initial pour took me by surprise. It was like a fizzy cherry cola. It changed after that, and now I get apple, pear, light oak, cinnamon, white pepper, baking spice. It gets better the more you drink it, and it's some of the most balanced but not overdone spice I have had in a bourbon. I would give it a 92/100, but curious to see what happens when it sits more. I also don't fully trust my taste right now, because I keep losing some flavors depending on the day. I have a feeling in a couple of days I may get more traditional vanillas and caramels if my taste is off now.
