I know I said it earlier, but I still can’t believe that performance from Mexico. They played like they hoped to even have a chance to win. They knew we were better, we knew we were better and both teams played like that.

 

Love these guys so much. First class we actually got to watch from teens to pros. Serge, Timo, Sarge on that U17 squad. Tyler, Puli, Haji, Luca, BV, Zebdejauce the squad before them. My absolute favorite though Gio, Gianny, Pepi, Jesus, Scally, JRR, Leyva the year after. Like ive been saying, it’s not a golden generation, it’s a golden WAVE. Cavan Sullivan is the greatest 14 year old soccer player on planet earth and he’s OURS. It’s happening friends.

 

Still my favorite (non)goal in USMNT history. Remember watching Hanover and thinking…we finally have the players to compete nationally.

I was only half-watching while playing Wingspan with my wife. She thought she had a slick kill machine, but got buried by big score birds. Happens too often, she falls in love with the eagles, hawks, and owls, but it's not a great strategy.
